Ross is a Hong Kong based coach, author, app developer, motivational speaker, and fitness studio owner (http://rosseathorne.com). He uses movement as medicine to enhance his student’s physical, emotional, mental and spiritual health, fitness and performance. Ross’s teachings are influenced by exercise science, sports coaching, Qi Gong, yoga, Exhuberant Animal, Georges Hebert, Crossfit, Westside Barbell, Gymnastics, TRX and shamanism. He continues to master and develop new movement modalities and philosophies. He is a TRX instructor and mentor for the Asia Pacific region and has CHEK Practitioner IV and Holistic Lifestyle Coach III accreditations. Students and clients range from professional boxing champions, world record mountaineers, autoimmune comprised and injured people, corporate executives, and those who want to lose weight and improve themselves. Ross is a former World Champion Mr Fitness, a New Zealand national gymnastics and sport aerobics champion, and has played international 10s and premier rugby. He has competed and coached in over 10 World championships in sport aerobics and Dragon boating, completed half-ironman and ultra-marathon events, and adventure races such as the Spartan.
