Axis is a psychologist, osteopath, and shaman of Spanish-Japanese descent, fully committed to the path of impeccability with 16 years of experience on the field of master plants.

At just 14 years old, Axis encountered Ayahuasca for the first time, in a desperate quest to heal from a profound existential and spiritual crisis.

For years, he was tormented by ceaseless negative thoughts and a false self-image that deeply affected his well-being.

Through years of intensive inner work, he transformed the darkness into his greatest strength. He now regards that painful period with gratitude, as it propelled him onto an extraordinary and empowering journey beyond all expectations.

Axis holds a degree in Psychology of Health and is the author of essays on topics such as:
➤ The neuropsychological and cognitive effects of Ayahuasca
➤ Ayahuasca’s influence on emotional intelligence and interpersonal communication
➤ His thesis on Ayahuasca-assisted therapy for PTSD

He has worked in advanced clinical settings across Europe, including:
➤ An Ibogaine rehabilitation center for severe addiction
➤ An Ayahuasca center grounded in modern psychotherapeutic methods

Through close collaboration with doctors, psychiatrists, nurses, and therapists, Axis has developed a trauma-informed, safe, and deeply integrative approach to plant medicine.

He is certified in Ayahuasca safety and risk prevention through ICEERS Academy and trained in First Aid.

Axis spent eleven years living in a temple, apprenticing under his teacher in the service of sacred plant medicines including Ayahuasca, Iboga, Yopo, San Pedro, Peyote, Kambo, Bufo, and others.

Training spans traditions and continents:

➤ Bwiti initiations in Gabon & Cameroon (Iboga)
➤ Sikuani Yopo initiation (Colombia–Venezuela)
➤ Arhuaco & Putumayo Taitas (Colombia), including Taita Querubín
➤ Perfumero shaman at Takiwasi Center (Peru)
➤ Peyote pilgrimages with Marakame shamans (Mexico)
➤ Sufi teachings in Egypt
➤ Apprenticeship with a Japanese shaman (Okinawa)

Through his work in various retreat centers across Europe, Axis has integrated a broad spectrum of therapeutic and ceremonial techniques, always with a focus on safety, presence, and real transformation.
