Stillness and spirituality have always been of interest to Kym, even as a young child, she was more interested in reading about Krishna, Buddha and Christ, than fashion magazines!
After completing a university degree to become a Social Worker, Kym decided to leave the world for 3 years and lived in an ashram from 2002 – 2005. The ashram course was primarily focused on Vedanta Philosophy with Hatha Yoga and Meditation as daily practices.
Upon returning to Australia, Kym left the city of Melbourne to set up a Yoga/Vedanta school in the Macedon Ranges, offering a wide range of day, weekend and week long programs centered on Vedanta, Meditation and Yoga. Kym has also conducted retreats in India.
Kym has experienced first hand the power of Vedanta philosophy, Asana and Meditation; the most powerful Kym would say being Vedanta Philosophy: “Without an understanding of some basic fundamental laws of life, we continually stumble over the same rock!”Source: kurakurayogaretreat.secure.retreat.guru
