About The Teacher

After getting first impressions about Yoga while traveling through India in the 1990s I started taking Hatha Yoga classes with Jutta Qu’ja Hartmann in the year 2000 at Cologne University, Germany, the place where I had grown up.

Having already 10 years of experience in Yoga practice I got certified for teaching at the Sivananda Kutir in Netala, Himalayas of India in 2010. In the following years until now i’ve been trying to keep myself continuously evolving through my own regular practice as well as various courses and trainings that i participate in. Over the years I was exposed to many different Yoga styles and influenced by various teachers, amongst them internationally renowned yogis, such as Simon Borg Olivier‘s Synergy Style and the rich teachings of Richard Freeman.

After completing a teacher training with Kristina Karitinou in September 2014 I also started teaching Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga.

In my teaching I like to emphasize the cultivation of awareness, breathing  and alignment, adjusting to the individual student’s needs.

In 2005 I was first initiated in the Vipassana meditation as taught by S.N.Goenka.

I fluently speak German, Greek, Spanish and English.
