Fherley Majin

About the Teacher

Why study with them?

Fherley Majin is a traditional Indigenous healer of Yanakona origin, born in the Río Blanco Ancestral Indigenous Reservation in Sotará, Cauca (Colombia). His journey with ancestral medicines began in childhood, during a profound training process guided by Taita Mayor Hipólito Muchavisoy, a renowned shaman from the Inga Indigenous Reservation of Yunguillo (Putumayo).

Under his guidance, he received the spiritual transmission of the principles and natural laws that govern the life of a traditional healer dedicated to working with Ayahuasca/Yagé, integrating a rigorous discipline on a personal, family, and community level.

With more than fifteen years of experience, Major Fherley has dedicated his life, along with his wife and children, to serving humanity through ancestral knowledge.

His work has the spiritual recognition of his teacher, the endorsement of his community, and the support of the highest Indigenous authority. He is also a nationally and internationally recognized medicine musician, whose original compositions are an essential part of the ritual spaces he accompanies.

He has guided healing processes in various parts of Colombia and Mexico, both personally and collectively.

His practice is distinguished by a deep respect for tradition, active listening, and the conscious use of words and song as tools for spiritual transformation.
