Kimberly Simpson, founder of Purple Lotus – Intro to Mala-Making workshop facilitator
A leap from corporate to creative – Kimberly created Purple Lotus (https://purplelotus.ca) when her personal practice of meditation + creating malas unexpectedly grew into a business (ad)venture! She believes that one’s natural state is balance + joy and she lives in gratitude for the opportunity to share her passion and learnings with others. Kimberly is thankful to be able to integrate her business background in Sales and Marketing + Life Coach in Communications training with her spiritual side – she is a Usui Reiki Master, a certified yoga instructor and holds training in Raja Yoga, the royal path of meditation.
Tracey Fowler – Groove Dance teacher
Tracey has always loved movement. She grew up as a figure skater and continued with that love as an adult, in the synchronized skating arena. Since finding yoga and training to be a teacher she has found new and enlightening ways to move. Tracey’s first 200-hour YTT was influenced by anatomy and intuitive sequencing. Continuing her education with an Advanced Vinyasa Flow certification a year later to add a fluidity to the experience. More recently studying to move the body in the GROOVE fashion. Colleagues and students have used the following words to describe Tracey’s classes: powerful, invigorating and sometimes whimsical. Tracey strives to let her students discover more about themselves as she empowers them to make the practice and dance experience their own with a wee flair of humor here and there.Source: fiveoaks.secure.retreat.guru
