Through mindful breath, slow intentional movement, and moments of stillness, yoga helps calm the nervous system, release built-up tension, and create a deeper connection between body, mind, and heart. In a world that often asks us to move faster and do more, slow flow offers an opportunity to soften, slow down, and simply listen.
This practice isn’t about perfection or performance. It’s about creating space to breathe, reconnect, and feel supported exactly as you are. Over time, yoga can help improve flexibility, mobility, sleep, stress levels, emotional balance, and overall well-being, but more importantly, it reminds us that healing can happen gently.
I’d love to invite you to join us Mondays from 6–7 PM at Indigo Grace for a nourishing slow flow practice. Whether you’re brand new to yoga or returning to your mat, this space is here for you.

Testimonial for the Rooted and Radiant Retreat
It’s been almost a week since I returned from the Rooted and Radiant retreat in Jamaica, and I am still completely under its spell. Every day, I find myself reflecting on those moments, trying to process and integrate everything I’ve learned to help me move forward in my life.
In today’s fast-paced world, being in such a beautifully slowed-down environment was a true blessing. Even though my daily life is trying to suck me back into the usual rush—balancing work and family—I still feel that inner stillness. It’s a wonderful, surreal feeling... the world is spinning fast around me, but I am still moving at that gentle, peaceful pace we found there. I truly hope I can hold onto this feeling for a long, long time.
From the very beginning, Dori and Nikki created a space wrapped in safety and love. As someone who finds it incredibly difficult to open up about my trauma—much of which I’m still processing and even struggling to remember—I was worried about feeling pressured. But Dori, who led our meditation and daily breathwork, guided us with such unbelievable care and devotion. I am so deeply grateful for every hug and for those moments when they both looked into my eyes and truly saw me.
I will never forget one particular moment during breathwork when I was shaking from the cold and feeling overwhelmed. They noticed exactly what I needed and covered me with a warm, soft blanket. It was such a small act, yet it meant the world to me... in that moment, I truly felt loved and cared for.
I am especially thankful for Dori’s magical, healing touch during our sessions. At the beginning of the week, every touch brought up deep wounds, intense emotions, and pain. But as the days went by, I felt increasingly safe, and by the end, those same touches were reaching down to my very cells, bringing me back to a place of peace. They both deeply honored my need for space, never pushing, only protecting. I felt seen and safe in every single moment.
Nikki led our movement and yoga sessions with the same mindful energy. She was incredibly kind and went above and beyond, putting in extra work and care to help me with my movements and mobility. I want to personally thank her for her dedication and for making me feel that I was capable of every exercise within my own limits.
The flexibility of the program, the perfect choice of location, and the kindness of the local people made this experience a true Jamaican miracle. I am still at the beginning of a long road toward healing, but this retreat showed me the light. I walked away with practical tools for my everyday life and the comfort of knowing I can always turn to Dori and Nikki with trust.
I recommend their programs from the bottom of my heart. If you have the chance to join them, do it. It is a gift of healing that everyone deserves.

P.S. Just a little fun fact... Dori mentioned that many Jamaicans in the small village where we stayed have nicknames. On the second day of our arrival, I had an accident, but I miraculously escaped with only minor injuries and earned the nickname "Hollywood"... I also have to mention that DORI’S RECOVERY RUB is a true treasure... it’s still unbelievable to me, but thanks to it, my injuries have almost completely healed in just one week.

Rooted and Radiant—Awaken Your Goddess
Our hosts, Dori and Nikki, welcomed us at the beautiful villa by the sea where our lodging and the healing journeys took place. I felt safe, heard, and respected during the whole week. The 9D breathwork can bring up many uncomfortable issues, and it was so nice to be held by these wonderful women. We never had to share anything about our traumas; that wasn’t a requirement. For the first time in my life, I felt like I was able to be there for myself only, focus on my own healing, and not try to fix others. Our bodies were nourished by locally grown foods, prepared by a local woman, Jackie. She understood that love is an essential ingredient in every dish that promotes healing. Her daughter, Jheanette, offered a massage for whoever needed one.
Yoga, daily walks, beach time, snorkeling, excursions, and partying with the locals were part of our weeklong program. The hosts were very accommodating; they were flexible and understanding with all of us.
What did I learn? I learned to trust my breath, that stillness is never empty, and that I am always enough.
Thank you all from the bottom of my heart for showing me that just like you, I am a goddess too, and everything I need to heal is already in me.
My wish is to radiate the soft and gentle light that attracts only good and ultimately will inspire others to become more conscious and positive, so they can keep this essential light alive by passing it on.
My Unbelievable Experience
The food was nothing short of nourishing for both body and soul. Having a local cook prepare our meals made it even more special, and venturing downtown to enjoy meals made by the community was such a beautiful and authentic experience.
Our leaders, Dori and Nikki, were absolute gifts. They each had an incredible ability to see and support every woman exactly where she was. Dori’s breathwork sessions were transformative — I never imagined how powerful something as simple as breathing could be. Her wisdom, love, and guidance are truly beyond words. Nikki’s yoga and movement practices were just as amazing, adapting each pose with so much care so everyone felt comfortable and included (even those of us who aren’t the most flexible 😄). Absolutely love the belly dancing part.!!!
The music during breathwork touched me deeply. It reminded me — and I know many others — to be gentler with ourselves and to embrace healing with compassion.
One of my biggest personal breakthroughs was finding my voice. I’ve always been quiet, shaped by years of feeling like I had to change who I was. This retreat helped me realize that being soft-spoken is not a weakness — it’s simply part of my authenticity, and that is more than enough.
This retreat was nothing short of remarkable. It reconnected me to my inner light and reminded me of the beauty within all of us. I wholeheartedly recommend this experience to anyone seeking healing, growth, and renewal. It is truly a journey back to yourself.
