About this Retreat

Details of this retreat

Experience an intimate sacred plants retreat in Tulum, combining Ayahuasca ceremonies, Toltec wisdom, yoga, personalised psychospiritual support and integration in the Mayan jungle.

What if, instead of continuing to search outside yourself for the answers, you created the space to listen more deeply to what is already within you?

This is your invitation to embark on that journey.

This intimate retreat is designed for those who feel called to explore their inner world, understand their patterns, and develop a deeper relationship with themselves. We weave sacred plant shipibo traditions, embodied practices, psycho-spiritual support, and ancient wisdom within a thoughtfully structured container for personal exploration and integration.

The depth of this experience comes from the combination of preparation, guidance, personal attention, and integration. The intention is not simply to have a profound experience, but to help you make sense of what emerges and explore how its lessons might translate into meaningful changes in your life.

Held at AMA, our jungle retreat space nestled in the Mayan jungle of Tulum, this intimate experience brings together sacred plant traditions, Toltec wisdom, transpersonal psycho-alchemy, yoga, and personalised psychospiritual support.

Surrounded by the sounds of the jungle, the presence of ancient trees and the healing waters of nearby cenotes, we create space to give your inner process the time and attention it deserves.

An intimate container, held with care.

With a maximum of four participants, the retreat is intentionally small. This allows for a more personal experience, with individual attention, space for questions, and tailored support throughout the journey.

Led by Maestro Cê Ācatl Rodrigo, whose work draws on Shipibo-Conibo ceremonial lineage and Toltec wisdom, the retreat includes two Ayahuasca ceremonies held in the Shipibo-Conibo format and tradition, alongside a wider programme of practices designed to support reflection, preparation and integration.

But the ceremonies are one part of a larger process.

We recognise that powerful experiences can bring forward emotions, memories, questions and insights that take time to understand. For this reason, personalised psychospiritual counselling and integration are central to the retreat. Maestro Ce Acatl personally guides you to explore the themes that emerge and identify practical tools, embodied practices and therapeutic approaches that may help you work with these insights in your daily life.

The intention is not to tell you who you are or what your experience means. It is to support you in developing a deeper relationship with your own inner world, with greater awareness, discernment and self-responsibility.

You are invited to arrive as you are.

The retreat brings together traditional plant-medicine practices and complementary approaches to personal development, with an emphasis on respect, emotional awareness, personal responsibility, and the importance of integration.

A journey through ceremony, self-mastery & wisdom

Throughout the retreat, we weave together practices that invite you to explore different dimensions of yourself.

Ayahuasca ceremonies - a traditional ceremonial setting for inner exploration, held by Maestro Cê Ācatl Rodrigo within the Shipibo-Conibo format and lineage he carries.

Toltec wisdom & Toltec Tantra - exploring perspectives on perception, personal stories, belief systems, relationships and the ways we participate in creating our experience of life.

Individual psychospiritual counselling offers dedicated space to explore your personal process, with support tailored to your needs and the themes that arise.

Yoga, meditation & breathwork - opportunities to slow down, develop body awareness and cultivate a more grounded relationship with your experience.

Plant and flower baths, a Temazcal ceremony and time in nature - experience ritual, purification and embodied connection.

Integration practices - explore how insights might translate into meaningful choices, healthier boundaries, new perspectives and more conscious ways of relating to yourself and others.

One Kambo ceremony subject to appropriate screening and informed consent.

Optional Bufo alvarius ceremony sessions may be available as an additional offering, following separate suitability.

All practices are approached with respect for their respective traditions, alongside attention to personal boundaries, safety and the individual needs of each participant.

A space to pause, reflect & reconnect

AMA is a simple, intimate space held within the living landscape of the Yucatán jungle.

Guests stay in wooden A-frame cabanas, with access to a pool, yoga shala and communal spaces across the grounds. The surrounding cenotes and natural environment offer opportunities to slow down, rest and experience the rhythms of the jungle.

Mexican meals are included, offering nourishment and shared moments around the table throughout the retreat.

The simplicity of the setting is part of the experience: fewer distractions, more room to listen, reflect and be present with yourself.

The journey does not end when the ceremonies do

What makes this retreat different is the attention given to the whole process, not only the experiences that happen during ceremony, but also how you prepare for them and what you do with what emerges.

Preparation practices help you arrive with greater clarity about your intentions, expectations and personal needs. During the retreat, individual support and integration provide space to explore your experience and identify the questions or patterns asking for further attention. Closing practices help you consider how to carry the work forward once you return home.

Transformation is not something that can be promised or delivered in a few days. It unfolds through awareness, time, support and the choices we make afterwards.

Our intention is to provide a thoughtful, supportive environment in which you can explore your inner world, reconnect with your own discernment and take meaningful steps towards living with greater authenticity.

Is this journey for you?

This retreat may be suitable for you if you feel ready to explore yourself more deeply, are open to reflective and embodied practices, and understand that personal growth involves both meaningful insights and the ongoing work of integration.

This retreat may speak to you if you:

Feel at a crossroads and want space to reflect on the direction of your life.

Are curious about Toltec wisdom, traditional plant ceremonies and transpersonal approaches to self-exploration.

Notice recurring emotional or relational patterns and want to understand them more deeply.

Want individual support rather than being one participant in a large group.

Are ready to question old beliefs, explore your relationship with yourself and take greater responsibility for your choices.

Value both spiritual exploration and grounded integration.

Want to make time for meaningful inner work in a natural, intimate setting.

Your invitation

Whatever brings you here, you do not need to arrive with all the answers.

Come with your questions, your curiosity, and your willingness to meet yourself with honesty.

Allow yourself the space to pause, to feel, to reflect, and to discover what becomes possible when you approach your life from a different perspective.

Are you ready to reconnect with your authentic self, deepen your understanding of love, and begin creating a life that feels more aligned with who you truly are?

This is an invitation to begin that journey, with care, intention, and support.

Nestled in the heart of the Mayan jungle, surrounded by ancient trees, wild nature & crystalline cenotes, AMA is a land-based sanctuary born from a deep love for the Earth, ancestral wisdom & a vision of living in greater connection with ourselves, each other & the natural world.

In Spanish, AMA evokes love, a beautiful reflection of the spirit behind this place. Built with intention by Maestro Cê Ācatl, Toltec wisdom keeper and curandero, and lovingly run together with his partner, Raquel, yoga & energy healer, AMA is more than a retreat space. It is a shared creation rooted in love, presence & a deep respect for the transformative relationship between people, nature & ancestral teachings.

AMA holds its own intelligence, inviting us to love, slow down, listen deeply & remember our place within the greater web of life.

A space for transformation, remembrance & reconnection, AMA welcomes wellness retreats, plant medicine retreats, ceremonies, detoxes & holistic practices. It is equally a place for community, shared moments, deep rest & the simple beauty of being immersed in nature.

Across the land, wooden A-frame cabanas offer a place to rest, while the yoga shala, swimming pool, communal gathering spaces & quiet corners create room for movement, reflection, connection & stillness. The jungle surrounds you, its sounds and rhythms becoming part of the experience.

The nearby cenotes, sacred freshwater pools woven into the landscape and cultural heritage of the Yucatán, Mayan region of Tulum, offer another dimension of connection, inviting moments of reflection, reverence & relationship with the living elements of this land.

AMA is simple, earthy & deeply connected to its surroundings. Creating space to meet life differently, with greater presence, openness & awareness.

A place created with love. A place to slow down, reconnect with the Earth & return to the love that you are.
