Iboga has been a major Mentor in my life, always whispering wisdom in the Wind.
As a trained Reiki practitioner, Bodyworker, Addiction recovery coach, somatic therapist, breathwork practitioner, I find it in my joy to support others through the important healing journey that Life is.
Trained and Initiated by a Bwiti Elder who encouraged me to find my own way, I have carried a keen listening ear through life learning from Plants, Animals and People. I have also been trained and initiated to serve Bufo and have worked extensively with San Pedro - Huachuma.
I have been providing care and ceremony for more than 6 years and it is my pleasure to offer unique ceremonies and retreat with an incredible emphasis on Integration. I have worked with Iboga directly learning to grow and harvest the plant in a sustainable manner. I have served in many countries and owned a Cermonial Clinic in Guatemal for 2 years which provided ceremonies for both locals and tourists with a strong focus on addiction, especially Alcoholism. Our program included longer stays and training in Permaculture as well as beekeeping to support with integration as well as providing skills for people to integrate back into society.
Today, I live in Canada, British columbia with my wife and am the Owner and Founder of Rooted Waters based at the Wakyanii Sanctuary, a 5 acre land which is stewarded by my Wife and I. The land is host to many honeybees and soon farm animals - it exudes beauty, with a beautiful pond, Cedar groves and an incredible abundance of flowers. We grow food, tend honey bees and much more. Our Centre will be available for longer stays so that people can be in the Medicine, in a safe space and being tended to.
I am a passionate Beekeeper, Gardener, Nature lover, Artist, poet and apprentice Jade carver.
Details of this retreat
Divination has been used since ancient times by people wanting to connect with the Spirit World seeking healing and guidance.
Dagara Stick Divination is a beautiful cosmological portal, that uses the traditional and mystical language of symbolism, icons, and connection to our ancestors to offer guidance into crossroads, crisis, transition, change and healing. It is a personal deciphering, counsel and guidance for your life issues. The reading provides insightful information that enables you to explore the deeper context of what keeps you from moving forward, to uncover your purpose and life’s work on the planet and break the unhealthy patterns often carried from our ancestral lineage. We call upon our ancestors and the Wedeme to assist in the clean up, the clearing and the nectar of ancestral wisdom to transmute the medicine we carry into a self healing.
Stick divinations are a deep dive into your field with the intention of healing. When an issue is identified, a ritual for healing is prescribed. We work with the Wedeme the elemental beings of the Wild and the Land within the framework of the Dagara tradition.
As an initiated stick diviners I have undergone an in-depth process of merging consciousness with one or more Elemental Beings. The Elemental Beings, in the Dagara Cosmology, are known as the Kontomble and the Wedeme. These beings are the Spirits and Keepers of the Water and the Wild. After a diviner has been properly initiated and merged with specific Elemental Beings, these spirits become very close allies, bringing the diviner messages and information to relay to the client. These benevolent, loving beings are in service to the Earth and very much want to assist humanity with healing. Stick divination is considered prescriptive, meaning a healing ritual is often the prescribed medicine.
Divinations are prescription based. This means that one will be prescribed specific rituals to find healing, clearing and to learn. These rituals can be simple such as offering milk to a body of water or become more complex depending on the need and what the Spirits say.
It is through this weaving of oneself back into nature and the spirit world that Healing and the discovery of our Purpose is possible.
Divinations can be a stand alone process or added prior to ceremony to better prepare for the process
