Please join SWAN Yoga in Goa, India where they follow yogic philosophy in daily life and live a yogic lifestyle. SWAN Yoga Retreat's integrative, research-based yoga intensive two-week program offers participants an immersion in that yogic lifestyle.
The one week retreat is a physically, emotionally, and spiritually rejuvenating experience. The program combines the practice of asana, pranayama, mantra, deep relaxation, yoga philosophy, ayurveda treatments and plenty of free time for self-reflection.
The research-based Yoga Ayurveda Week Retreat serves as the perfect yoga introduction for beginners as well as the perfect yoga immersion for those who have been practicing yoga for some time, while you are experiencing a deep healing and relaxation through carefully picked treatments for your individual body type.
The holistic yoga program also offers more experienced students an immersion designed to deepen their practice and understanding of yoga.

Participants in this one-week yoga course will learn a wide variety of classical Hatha yoga practices including yoga asana (yoga postures), pranayama (breath control), mudras (psychic gestures), meditation, and deep relaxation techniques.
Traditional yogic detox practices will also be introduced, including jala neti (nasal passage cleansing), vaman and dhauti (stomach and esophagus cleansing), laghooshankhaprakshalana (intestinal cleansing) and trataka (gazing at a candle flame).
Within a traditional atmosphere, SWAN Yoga Retreat teaches yoga using the age-old methods of the gurukula (traditional Indian teaching method) in an environment free from dogma. Yoga philosophy is an integral part of any yoga holiday at SWAN Yoga Retreat. Fundamental to learning about yoga is an understanding of the ‘why’ behind any yogic practice. It is also crucial to understand that there is so much more to yoga than just the practice of asana (physical postures).

Please book your flight to arrive at Goa International Airport (GOI). Transfer from and to Goa Dabolim Airport on request.
Airport transfers to SWAN Yoga Retreat can be arranged for the cost 4400 INR for both ways (2200 INR each way). We would like to have your exact Flight number and time ideally 2 days before the arrival.

Accommodation

Budget Cottage Eco-Friendly Budget cottage is divided up into separate row rooms. Each with individual outdoor entrances and adjoined private bathrooms, it’s the perfect accommodation for 1-2 budget travellers. Every room is named after the four brothers of Ramayana – an Indian mythological scripture – and features two twin beds with mosquito netting, a ceiling fan and a large curtained window to filter in natural light. You can also enjoy the rush of cool air with the company of your neighboring guests at the communal covered patio, equipped with outdoor seating by every room entrance. Standard Cottage Accommodating 2-4 guests, these spacious private cottages provide a beautiful view of the sunrise over the jungle trees. Named after the seven chakras, each standard cottage features two double beds with mosquito netting, ceiling fans above each bed, a private adjoined bathroom, two curtained windows for maximum air circulation, and a covered private patio with a lounge area. Built close enough to each other to talk to your neighbor, yet far enough away to maintain your privacy, it’s easy to taller you level of engagement with other guests to your liking. Deluxe Cottage Divided between sitting at the top of the hill and exclusively on the third tier of the property are our deluxe cottages that give you the best view and most privacy. They are perfect for couples or someone looking to treat themselves. Each cottage features a king bed (except one with twin bed), with mosquito net, large adjoined private bathroom, two ceiling fans, curtained windows, and a private covered patio with lounge seating, from where you can enjoy a panoramic view of the jungle, the best sunrise, and feel the full force of the cooling mountain breeze. The cottage on the sixth tier of the property, its placement is metaphorically aligned with the sixth and highest level of enlightenment. You could say waking up here is like waking up in heaven! The Deluxe cottages on the third tier are suitable for elderly people and for those who do not wish to climb each time on the top but get other benefits of a deluxe cottage.
