Ronel Cairuna Garcia, my Shipibo name is Ronin Yoi, and with my wife Wilma Verita Morayari Saldaña, my Shipibo name is Isa Yaka, we are a married couple dedicated to medicine for many years.
I come from a family of Onanyas (traditional healers) established in the Ucayali region. I am the son of the respected teacher Alfredo Cairuna (Sinamano), who passed away three years ago. He introduced me to the path of medicine at a young age. From childhood, I witnessed my grandparents using traditional medicinal methods to cure and treat illnesses, fostering my interest in medicines and ancestral knowledge.
Since my father passed away, his legacy continues with the same spirit of serving and helping people with their various problems. In my training, I have followed diets based on different master plants and traditional medicines, undergoing a very long process of preparation and training, thanks to my grandfather and my father, to whom I am eternally grateful.
During my training, I learned to identify plants and their pharmacological properties so I could use this knowledge to help people. I also give lectures on the medicinal properties of local plants. I am a very patient, friendly, and kind person, sharing my knowledge with patients in an easy and accessible way.
I have a beautiful family: my sons Luis, Leonel, Freddy, Jack, and Lester. I currently live in Iquitos.

“MESSENGER BIRD
THAT RECEIVES AND TRANSMITS PEACE AND LOVE
MORE THAN 30 YEARS WALKING THE PATH OF ANCESTRAL MEDICINE”
•
Maestra Wilma Verita Morayari Saldaña, known in Shipibo as Isayaka, meaning "messenger bird that receives and transmits peace and love," is a Shipibo healer from the community of Nuevo Nazareth, belonging to an ancestral culture recognized for its rich traditions, wisdom, and knowledge passed down through generations.
With more than 30 years walking the path of ancestral medicine, WILMA has dedicated much of her life to service, healing, and supporting others. For her, being a healer carries a simple yet profound meaning: to help, serve, and work with love.
Her connection with medicine began at a very early age, growing up surrounded by her grandparents and family members, who lived deeply connected to traditional medicine. Among them, she shared a special bond with her grandmother Isayaka, a medicine woman with whom she also shares the same spiritual name. From childhood, she accompanied her family into the jungle to collect medicinal plants, developing a deep curiosity and natural connection with this world.
As time passed, she began receiving dreams and spiritual experiences where the spirits of medicine invited her deeper into this path, revealing teachings and guidance on how to use this knowledge in service of others.
Later in life, when she united with her husband and began building a life together, a new chapter in her spiritual and medicinal journey unfolded. Through his family, she had the opportunity to deepen her preparation under the guidance of her father-in-law, the respected Maestro Alfredo Cairuna (Sinamano). This stage strengthened her path through profound plant diets and expanded her knowledge in icaros, therapeutic massage, traditional work with perfumes and tobacco, mud treatments, and the ancestral art of bone healing, a traditional practice focused on working with bones, supporting fractured bones, alignment, and restoring the body's physical structure.
For WILMA, master plants are a great spiritual school. She believes that when a person enters this path, they enter a world of teachings, discipline, and sacred rules that must be honored with humility and commitment.
Throughout the years, she has guided many healing processes through ceremonies and traditional treatments, supporting each person with presence, intuition, and deep respect for the medicine.
Through her journey, she has learned that helping and serving others brings profound joy to her heart. Witnessing someone find relief, clarity, or transformation is one of the greatest gifts of her life.
The values she seeks to share with those who come to her space are love, unity, empathy, and respect. Through ceremonies, dreams, and spiritual messages, she feels the spirits continually remind her of one essential teaching: to cultivate love, serve, and help one another.
Her deepest wish is that every person who works with her may find wellbeing, clarity, and reconnect with their purpose in life.
Born in Poland, I have been exploring life's deeper questions since childhood. From an early age, I felt drawn to understanding the nature of reality, consciousness, and the human experience.
My journey was not a straightforward one. For much of my life, I struggled with feelings of disconnection, misunderstanding, and inner conflict. These challenges eventually became some of my greatest teachers, leading me into profound personal work and giving me extensive experience with the process often referred to as shadow work.
I am professionally trained as a physiotherapist and massage therapist, with a strong appreciation for the connection between body, mind, and spirit.
Today, I dedicate my life to supporting others on their paths of healing, self-discovery, and transformation. My approach is grounded in authenticity, compassion, and the understanding that growth often emerges through our willingness to face both the light and the shadow within ourselves.
Details of this retreat
For those who are interested in our work, but not ready to commit for longer, or not ready for sacrifice and strict restrictions of master plant dieta, we are offering these social retreats in brand new branch of Psychonauta, called Psychonauta Tribe.
PLEASE NOTE : There will be no additional charges for plant medicine or psychedelics. Our prices include work of all those involved, maintenance, building, running costs etc, but we do not trade with medicines, these are provided free of charge ( or for voluntary donation )
This is a place where stress is placed upon relational aspect of healing and growth, rather than personal development, self centered fixing of “my big problem”, we open our eyes to the beauty of connection itself, try to see what we are sharing with others, including our burdens, how we can help them, rather than always seek help, but most of all, simply be together in the experience, what is so often missing in modern world.
The purpose of these events is also to direct people who want to experience ayahuasca in jungle setting with us, but are not sure if they can manage a degree of solitude and austerity that is essential in master plant dieta properly done. Now hopefully each will choose according to their commitment and intention.
In 7 days, you get to participate in 3 ayahuasca ceremonies and lots of integration activities.
You are allowed to socialize with others throughout the whole event, we have daily sharing circles, processing what happened, listening to your stories, as well as option for private consultations. There will be a lot of music, fresh food, including what we don’t serve in strict dieta, like fruits. There is also access to wifi and solar panel energy to charge your devices, if you need to stay in touch with outside world.
This is designed to be a family gathering, that means that kids are also welcome, but most of all, that we build content together, so don’t expect rigid touristic schedule, like “it is 10 AM, so we have yoga class in program”. You want yoga? We have a instructor on board, you can get together and practice, but if you want to hang out in hammock in that time, reading book, that is fine. No pressure on both sides. We can explore vast forest in our backyard, can do a river trip to search for pink dolphins, there are many options.
Psychonauta Tribe means meeting of tradition and experiment, means celebration, dance, fire in the end of each ceremony, means watermelon when you are coming down from ayahuasca journey and playing with local kids in the morning.
Here we will cut attachment to trauma and go into its opposite, uninhibited, wild play.
We will not suppress fear, we will laugh with it and at it.
This will be a game that is not afraid of dark but also of ecstatic, uninhibited joy and celebration. It is not just about fixing the broken, healing the wound, being eternal patient. We are welcoming next stage, deserved, of awe and ecstasy, not just psychedelic therapy, but psychedelic misteria, primal feast of trembling being. This is healing work beyond western understanding of the medicine, where medic and trickster are one.
