Recommended Travel Options Option 1: Domestic Flight (Fastest) From SJO, take a domestic flight to San Isidro de El General (PZC). The flight time is approximately 45 minutes. From San Isidro airport, the retreat center is reachable by car or taxi (approximately 30 minutes). Option 2: Ground Transportation (Scenic Route) Travel by private transfer or rental car from San José to San Isidro de El General. The drive takes approximately 4–5 hours, depending on traffic and weather, and passes through mountainous and rural landscapes. Private shuttle services can be arranged in advance and are the most comfortable option for international travelers.
