Golden Willow Retreat

At Golden Willow Retreat, we understand that healing starts with the environment. Our tranquil, five-acre property is nestled at the foothills of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains in Arroyo Hondo, just 8 miles north of Taos, New Mexico.

We tailor our menu to meet the dietary needs and requests of our guests. We have a questionnaire that our guest fills out prior to arrival to let us know their food preferences.

• Head north on NM State Highway 68. This becomes NM State Highway 522, north of the intersection with State Highway 150 (east) and State Highway 64 (west). • Continue straight for approximately 7.8 miles to Arroyo Hondo, go past the Midtown market on the left, then turn at the next left onto Lower Arroyo Hondo Road • Continue on Lower Arroyo Hondo Road until you see Old Hwy. 3. Take a right and slowly weave your way up Old Hwy. 3 until you see a sign for Atalaya Road. • Turn right onto Atalaya Road and stay in the center between the houses on your right and left. • Continue on this narrow dirt road slowly, you will pass a dip in the road with cattails on your right. • Continue to the top of the hill and keep going, you will come to Callecita Rd. where you will turn right. There will also be a Golden Willow Retreat sign with an arrow pointing to the right to help guide you. • Golden Willow Retreat is the next driveway on the right, there is a post with the number 7 on it.
