Directions
Alya is located in the hills above San Juanillo, Guanacaste, Costa Rica, surrounded by jungle and just a short drive from the beach.
From Liberia International Airport (LIR)
The journey takes approximately 2.5 to 3 hours by car.
You can arrive by:
Private taxi or shuttle directly to Alya
Rental car, following the route toward Santa Cruz and then San Juanillo
Public bus from Liberia to Santa Cruz, and from Santa Cruz to San Juanillo (with a short taxi ride to the property)
We are happy to help coordinate transportation before your arrival.
From Nosara Airport
Nosara is about 45–60 minutes by car from Alya.
Options include:
Taxi or private transfer (the easiest way)
Rental car via the coastal road toward San Juanillo
Detailed directions and location pin will be shared after booking.
Final arrival
The last part of the road is a short rural jungle road, typical of the area.
We recommend arriving before sunset for the most comfortable journey.
