Crieff Hills Retreat Centre

I almost don't want to say how awesome this place was cause I want to keep it to myself. As soon as I went on the grounds I felt complete peace. The grounds were peaceful, the staff was pleasant, my room was perfect and clean and quiet. They provided tea and coffee in the room, a Bible and matches and wood for a fire. I had locked my keys iny car as soon as I got there but had everything I needed. I heard roasters crowing and saw fireflies at night by the fire. Totally relaxing and wonderful experience.

I've participated in the Quiet Days several times and it's always exactly what I need. The freedom to do exactly what I need, without pressure to participate in any activities, is a great break for people constantly juggling many expectations and pressures. The trails, the comfortable rooms, the quiet environment, and the *excellent* healthy, farm-to-table food is balm for my soul, time after time. The host volunteers are always so kind and welcoming as well. 11/10! Thank you Crieff!

Arranging our 3-day event was very straightforward, working with Justin. Our group had particular needs around space (individual rooms; large plenary space; 5 smaller breakout rooms for one of the days) and they were able to accommodate and provide options to help us plan. When we had an unexpected need for a small room they immediately sorted out where we could hold our meeting. There was another group on-site with us during the stay and there was no difficulty at all in managing shared buildings (but different rooms) and collegial meal times. The facilities and meals were excellent for our needs.

I have been going here for 12 years. It’s a wonderful place! It holds the retreat in beautiful ways; the Staff, the community spaces, the phenomenal scenery! We can be free to walk and roam and breathe! And, we can have important contemplative space with one another, nature, and ourselves!
