Crieff Hills Retreat Centre

As always Crieff Hills is a wonderful setting. Our group has been coming here twice a year since Sept 1998 and have stayed in Prophet, Ruth, Shepherd and now Dove. The grounds, trails and houses are great and it is now very interesting to be part of the farm. You always seem to be making small improvements to the houses to make them better.
BUT, as our group's organizer, I have to tell you that your new booking system is HORRIBLE!! I cannot think of one thing good about it. The old system was excellent. It told me everything I needed to know. This time I had to make multiple phone calls to the office to clarify things. I would be willing to speak to you about this if you feel it would do any good.

We had such a wonderful experience at the Crieff Hills Retreat Fall Farm Tour, followed by a fabulous four-course evening meal created with ingredients from the farm.

A special shout-out to Farmer David, who was incredibly informative and engaging. His knowledge and passion for the land were inspiring, and he was a wonderful educator, explaining how the farm is adapting and evolving through regenerative farming methods. It was fascinating to learn about the positive changes being made to nurture the soil, support biodiversity, and create a healthier, more sustainable farm for the future.

Then came the food! Once again, the chefs were absolutely superlative. Every course was beautifully presented, incredibly creative, and bursting with flavour. Knowing that so much of what we were eating had come directly from the farm made the whole experience even more special.

A perfect autumn evening, learning, exploring, connecting with the land, and enjoying exceptional food. Crieff Hills Retreat has created something truly special, and we can’t wait to return.

It is always such a pleasure to visit Crief Hills. This time reconnecting with David Alexander made it even more special. If anything, I do wish it was a bit longuer, there is so much to see and talk about.

Had a lovely time at Crieff Hills. The accommodations were thoughtfully equipped and provided for all of my needs during my stay. The land has lovely walking trails, farm animals and is very peaceful and welcoming. I’ll definitely be back.
