Raizes Surfcamp was born to bridge a gap in the market, a surf retreat hosted by locals. We partnered with a local hostel and local surf school to deliver an authentic experience, a true surfcamp that only a Portuguese surfer from Peniche would do!

Directions
Book your flight to Lisbon Humberto Delgado Airport (LIS) in Lisbon, Portugal.
Distance: ~65–70 km
Travel time: about 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on transport
Why it’s best: It’s the closest major international hub with the most flight options and easiest connections to Peniche/Ferrel
Airport transfer is included. You will have to book your own flights. If you decide to get your own transport, you can get to Peniche by bus from Lisbon and other cities in Portugal, and we will pick you up from the bus station. If you are arriving by car, the hostel is located in the center of Ferrel, and there is plenty of on-street free parking available.
