Book your flight to Athens Eleftherios Venizelos International Airport (ATH) in Athens, Greece. CAR From Athens International Airport “Eleftherios Venizelos” (ATH), the retreat in Kanatadika is approximately a 2.5–3 hour journey by car (around 170–200 km including the ferry route), or about 4–5 hours by public transportation. By car, the recommended route passes through mainland Greece and includes the Arkitsa–Edipsos ferry crossing (40–50 minutes), followed by a 20-minute drive (15–20 km) from Edipsos Port to Kanatadika. Alternatively, travelers can take public buses (KTEL) from Athens after reaching the city center from the airport, continuing toward Edipsos or Istiaia, and then completing the trip by local taxi. Transfer assistance can also be arranged for shared rides or carpooling, and the journey itself offers a gradual transition from the city to the calm coastal landscape of North Evia. BUS Public buses (KTEL) operate from Athens to North Evia. Guests can travel from the airport to Athens city center and then continue by bus toward Edipsos or Istiaia. From there, a local taxi can bring them to Kanatadika.
