Almazonia Sagrada offers transformative retreats in Alter do Chão, Brazil, in the heart of the Amazon and above one of the world's largest freshwater aquifer systems. Our mission is to create a space where people can reconnect with themselves and with nature through yoga, meditation, temazcal ceremonies, rainforest experiences, and conscious living practices. Each activity is designed to help participants reconnect with the four natural elements—Earth, Water, Fire, and Air—while cultivating balance, presence, and inner well-being. Supported by organic vegetarian cuisine, small groups, and personalized guidance, our retreats inspire lasting personal growth and a deeper connection to life.

Directions
The nearest airport is Santarém–Maestro Wilson Fonseca Airport (STM), located approximately 35 km (22 miles) from Alter do Chão. Complimentary group airport transfers from and to Santarém Airport are included on the retreat arrival and departure dates.
For international travelers, the easiest route is to fly into Brazil through São Paulo (GRU), Rio de Janeiro (GIG), Brasília (BSB), Manaus (MAO), or Belém (BEL), and then take a connecting domestic flight to Santarém (STM).
Once you arrive in Santarém, our team will welcome you and provide transportation to the retreat venue in Alter do Chão. The journey takes approximately 40–50 minutes by road through the beautiful Amazon region.
