Beautiful BC gem
I came from NJ in the US to attend a yoga retreat at Stowel Lake Farm, and enjoyed every minute. I have to start with the food, which is delicious, largely vegetable based. I am not a vegetarian or vegan but it was not a problem - the food was creative, delicious and plentiful! The soups were fantastic. I am a muffin maven and every morning could not wait for the next delicious flavor! I stayed in a yurt, which was very comfortable and fun. The beauty of nature shines in every inch of this lovely farm, and although the weather was quite changeable, it was a beautiful place to experience spring. Staff are so sweet and friendly. The island of Salt Spring is a special place as well, and I got to go to Saturday's craft and food market. I had a wonderful visit here and will not hesitate to return!

A beautiful venue with supportive and welcoming staff
As a retreat organizer, Stowel Lake Farm was a pleasure to work with and also provided a lovely experience for our participants. The location is stunning, the facilities are lovingly cared for and the staff are always smiling. A highlight is the exceptionally prepared meals with vegetables from the farm. We look forward to returning to Stowel Lake Farm!

Stowel Lake Farm is incredible!
This place is a magical, wholesome oasis that helps you breathe deeply and put your feet on the ground. The accommodations are beautiful and skillfully made, the gardens inspiring, and the food….the food, oh the food. The family and people running the farm are so skilled and knowledgeable, and are true stewards for their land. I highly recommend a stay here if you ever have a chance!

Second Great Visit
This was my second retreat at The Stowel Farm. I was dreaming of returning for 3 years and finally returned the first weekend of May 2022 for a yoga retreat. Everything about the farm is magical and rejuvenating. From hummingbirds to organic delectable meals to cozy accommodations. I would highly recommend this retreat escape.
