About Kiyumi

Mission & Vision

Kiyumí is an integrative, psychedelic-assisted, salutogenic approach to self-inquiry and growth. In our work we build bridges between science-based and trauma-informed modalities and practices from plant medicine traditions.

Our approach is centered in connectedness and we are deeply inspired by the power of the group. We believe that coming together and sharing expansive experiences in a safe container can support us in living fuller lives and being more in touch with our essence.

Our aim is to (re)connect to nature, to call for true compassion and acceptance of ourselves and of each other. In coming together, we listen, share and inspire, igniting a sense of belonging that can be carried back into our communities of origin.

Nestled between ancient oak trees and beside a lake, the Land van Yemaya is a beautiful venue. Not only is the surrounding nature spacious, but the ceremonial room provides tranquility and connection to nature through its design and impressive view. After a stroll over the grounds you may want to have a swim in the lake or wind down in the sauna. The Dutch country style houses have been renovated with love bringing the venue to modern comforts while preserving its original charm.

Beyond expectations and imaginations
Perfect. Perfect. Perfect.
It’s the only way to describe what this retreat experience was like for me. I understand the wisdom in how the coursework is created to lead up to you the retreat experience and then I don’t understand, but trust the ways that the actual retreat is curated —amazing and miraculous is about all I can say. And an attempt to give a more thoughtful answer, may be an answer that someone else could grasp onto like a string of truth.-every activity built a safe community for me to have one of the most profound journeys of my entire life-and I’ve done a lot of journeys with a lot of different medication’s. It’s not about the tool. It’s about the way. The tool was being used. It’s not about the medicine. It’s about the way. The medicine is being.Collaborated with.
I have so much gratitude for this experience. Gratitude beyond measure.
And I know we untied stated folx and be overly exhuberant about things. But that’s not me. I’m just being honest right now.

Psychedelic practitioner training - retreat
Working as a therapist I can really recommend Kiyumi . The training and the retreat is planned and handled with so much care and professional knowledge. I felt so safe and the learning experience has been deep and profound. Very satisfying that they spend a lot of time doing preparation and integration work. Also the way they integrate ancestral and spiritual knowledge is profound.

What a rare and tender privilege
What a rare and tender privilege it has been to take part in this integrative psychedelic retreat training, held across a quiet and luminous week in the Netherlands.
From the very first moment, one could feel that this was not merely a training, but a living, breathing field of care. The facilitators did not arrive as experts above us, but as fellow human beings, deeply attuned, humble, and profoundly present. Their authority was not performative, but earned through the unmistakable qualities of lived experience, inner work, and an ongoing devotion to healing.
Their presence alone was teaching.
There was a gentleness to their guidance, and yet a steady, unwavering containment. They listened with their whole bodies. They met complexity without urgency, emotion without fear, and vulnerability without intrusion. Each intervention felt considered, ethical, and rooted in both clinical skill and deep somatic intelligence.
What struck me most was the depth of their own personal healing. It was not spoken of as an achievement, but it could be felt in the way they held silence, in the way they welcomed pain, in the way they trusted the natural intelligence of the psyche. This gave the entire space a remarkable safety — the kind that cannot be manufactured, only embodied.
The learning itself was rich, layered, and exquisitely integrated. Theory and practice were not separated, but woven together through lived experience, reflection, and gentle challenge. The somatic practices were exceptional — grounded, precise, and profoundly regulating. They offered not techniques, but invitations into deeper listening, into the subtle language of the body, into the quiet wisdom that precedes words.
And even the nourishment mattered. The food was not merely sustenance, but care made edible: generous, beautiful, and deeply attuned to the rhythms of the work. Each meal felt like an extension of the holding — a reminder that the body, too, is part of the ceremony.
This retreat did not promise transformation as spectacle. Instead, it offered something far more enduring: a slow, respectful deepening; a remembering of what ethical, relational, trauma-informed psychedelic work can truly be.
I leave with gratitude, humility, and a renewed reverence for this path. This was teaching of the highest order — not only in what was shared, but in how it was lived.
I would recommend this training to anyone who wishes to walk this work with integrity, tenderness, and depth.
