Kiyumí is an integrative, psychedelic-assisted, salutogenic approach to self-inquiry and growth. In our work we build bridges between science-based and trauma-informed modalities and practices from plant medicine traditions.
Our approach is centered in connectedness and we are deeply inspired by the power of the group. We believe that coming together and sharing expansive experiences in a safe container can support us in living fuller lives and being more in touch with our essence.
Our aim is to (re)connect to nature, to call for true compassion and acceptance of ourselves and of each other. In coming together, we listen, share and inspire, igniting a sense of belonging that can be carried back into our communities of origin.
Nestled between ancient oak trees and beside a lake, the Land van Yemaya is a beautiful venue. Not only is the surrounding nature spacious, but the ceremonial room provides tranquility and connection to nature through its design and impressive view. After a stroll over the grounds you may want to have a swim in the lake or wind down in the sauna. The Dutch country style houses have been renovated with love bringing the venue to modern comforts while preserving its original charm.

Wonderful and peaceful experience with Kiyumi
My 6 day retreat as part of the Kiyumi Psychedelics Practitioner program was a wonderful experience.
The days were filled with very interesting workshops, exercises, a psychedelic journey and (as part of the program) the possibility to experience, and practise to sit for someone during their psychedelic journey.
And after the journey, there were very useful and needed intergration days to help and reflect on the experiences both as sitter and journeyer. I can highly recommend a retreat from Kiyumi, they will take perfect care of you and you will learn a lot.
New Eden Retreat center was a nice accomodation to stay during this retreat. Nice rooms, clean, quiet and peaceful.

Loving sacred safe space
I have had the pleasure of joining the somatic psychedelic practitioner training with Kiyumi, including joining their 6 day psychedelic retreat. From the minute I interacted with Kiyumi I could tell it was the right place to invest my time and money - and it continues to be the best decision I've made in a while regarding my training and upskilling journey. The team has a variety of capabilities and they hold space in a loving, caring, humble way. The attention to detail, the flexible yet structured schedule and the ability to interact with like minded souls around the world has been life changing. I highly recommend this to anyone looking to gain more knowledge and confidence in holding space for their own psychedelic retreats / containers.

You will be in the most competent hands!
The Kiyumi team is absolutely amazing in holding space for journeyers and also in creating preparation and integration tools that are fun, creative and so helpful in the tender, vulnerable time before and after a journey. I felt safe and seen the whole week, even when I was far out of my usual comfort zone. I loved how their trauma informed approach (embodied and playful) was combined with indigenous knowledge and respect for traditions. I absolutely recommend a retreat with Kiyumi!

Incredible
Still feeling tender and raw after this week retreat that was a part of my training as a psychedelic facilitator.
I left deeply impacted by the force and the rawness of this experience and still at times tears flow on their own, feeling how authentic human connection can reach and echo the abyss of our beings.
In just 6 days, I was able to experience such intimacy with perfect strangers. Experience our pain, struggles, joy and hurdles. Witness our process and mirror our journeys.
More than the psychedelic experience itself which expand and deepen the work, we rejoiced and learned through the most simple things… movement, witnessing, sharing circles, bonding with breath, dancing with sound, celebrating, playing, drawing….
Really these things are often forgotten or taken for granted but they really make such a difference in the way that we relate and choose to experience the world together.
I have re-learned the necessity to (very often) self regulate the nervous system through breath and movement in order to make space for bonding and intimacy in this humaneness.
I have learned how to practice loving presence during psychedelic work, how to hold space for people to freely unfold their process in a safe and trusted environment.
How challenging it is to be raw and heart open really.. how much courage it takes for us to open that wounded heart and face awkwardness, imperfection, vulnerability, social anxiety, self doubt, shadows…
There is so much things to say but also not enough words for it…
Yet I feel so grateful to have chosen this training and container that has given me the confirmation that these are spaces I belong to and want to explore, co create and nourish in this world of division, inauthenticity, physical and emotional deprivation.
Kiyumi facilitators are amongst the most beautiful and supportive humans I have met and if this review is there to convince anyone to go for it then I would say PLEASE don’t overthink and GO.
