Puggo's Cooking School Retreat

Aves Hotel and Resort is a luxurious and consciously designed piece of paradise. Recently built on the hills of Montezuma with views of the Pacific Ocean, their spacious facilities and accommodations are built to nurture your heart and mind. You can relax in the lounge pool, burn some energy in the 17-meter lap pool, or reflect in one of Costa Rica’s largest ocean-view yoga shalas. The area is surrounded by luscious jungles, pristine beaches, and the iconic Montezuma waterfalls.

Most of your meals will come as a result of your cooking lessons. Please take a look at the COOKING CLASSES described for this retreat.

There are 2 international airports in Costa Rica: Juan Santamaria (SJO) and Liberia International (LIR). Direct shuttles to/from SJO are included in the retreat and transportation to/from LIR can be arranged for an additional cost. If you would like to explore the country before or after the retreat, renting a car or taking local buses may be more your style. We are happy to help you with specific directions or other questions via email. Finally, if you are eager to get to our corner of paradise, you can turn the long drive into a quick flight with the domestic airline, Sansa (flysansa.com). Flights leave from both international airports and land in Tambor (TMU), a small airport 30 minutes from our door.
