Great setting, food and lots of unplugged time
We came here for a 3 days wedding. The cabins were very rustic, but good to listen to the birds and watch birds. We are bird nerds. A friendly chipmunk came to visit every day. The food was quite good. I liked the oatmeal with the sweetened coconut, the sides with brown rice (excellent), fresh salads everyday, Lots of places for group meet-ups, fishing, quiet solo time. The mosquitoes and black flies were pretty bad. Bring insect repellent and lots of sun screen and a big floppy hat. Lots of photo ops. Was very pleased with the setting and the kitchen quality. We had bbq brisket for the wedding dinner among the aspens. Side salads good. No wedding cake but tasty fruit cobblers with whipped cream served from the cast iron skillets.

Unfortunately not the best
We were exited to attend a wedding at Beyul but were disappointed compared to the price we paid. The food was very lackluster. We expected higher quality meals and more substantial. There was a miscommunication and we missed out on an entire breakfast one morning. Also the site was not kept as clean as expected especially on the day of the wedding. During cocktail hour, there was still trash on the floor from the night before. No one came to clean up and there was just one appetizer for the hour. Read More

Hosting Somatic Summer Camp here was the best decision we could have made!
As a retreat leader I travel all over the world in search of venues that can hold my needs as a teacher and offer the participants a combination of beautiful nature, relaxing amenities, friendly service and a feeling of being home away from home.
We had a very special event at Beyul - spending a week mixing somatic practice, healing ritual, art therapy and nature therapy. It was incredible to be able to relax in the caring hands of the staff who helped us with everything from making sure students have comfortable accommodation, to setting up and breaking down our set up in the event tent for classes, to making sure we had just the right length branches for the art installation we built.
My students were wowed by the food, the kindness of the chefs and kitchen staff, and for being accommodated for all their dietary needs.
Beyul has everything to help you feel like you are together and supported, but also that you can take personal space and enjoy relaxation.
If you are ready to truly lead a powerful retreat, or attend one, I can't recommend Beyul enough!
I told our event coordinator Bronwyn that we are claiming Beyul as the spot for our main retreat each year. I will still keep traveling out of the US to lead my international students, but my heart is here planted in the hidden lands. Read More

Incredible sanctuary for wellness & good people!
Beyul is magic! We had great accommodations in a large cabin with a full kitchen & washer/dryer. The 2 yoga/wellness classes we took were fantastic, owner Abby and yoga teacher Dani were excellent. The sauna & cold plunge area (with hot tub) are amazing and well maintained, the ability to use them every day during your stay truly makes you feel so revitalized. We took advantage of the great winter trails on the property for an AT tour, and the free organic hot drinks available in the communal kitchen were a great way to warm up. Would 100% return and recommend Beyul to anyone looking for a health-oriented, nature-driven stay in a beautiful and remote part of Colorado. The owners are amazing and clearly put a lot of dedicated care and energy into making this such a special place. Read More
