Mission & Vision
Epicenter Ayahusca was founded by Mama Olinda, Padre Esteban and Urban in 2022 and is run by their family. The retreat is just outside Pahoyan, A Shibibo village up the Amazonian river from Pucallpa, Peru. The family carries centuries of experience, with tradition and practice of using Ayahuasca and master plant dietas as healing methods going back to their great ancestors.

We are a small and intimate center, currently holding 5 tambos, two of which are shared. We have 1 huge Ceremony building which is also open during daytime. Our family have it´s own house at the retreat itself so we are always in close proximity. We have also have a common place in our kitchen house. The venue itself is located about 20 minute walk or 5 min by boat from the Shipibo village of Pahoyan in a private setting in the middle of the Amazon

You will be served what the shamans eat: a vegetarian diet without salt, sugar, spices, and occasionally fish and chicken. We can adapt to most dietary options as full vegetarian, vegan, gluten free

Directions
1. Closest international airport is Lima (Capital of Peru) and from there you take a flight to Pucallpa (about a 50 minute flight). You have about 6-8 flights leaving from Lima to Pucallpa every day. It´s generally easier to find good flight tickets booking your flight to Lima and then buy the local airticket separately. IMPORTANT: You always have to pick up your bag in Lima and check it in again even though you use the same flight company in the transfer.
No matter what time you arrive in Pucallpa, we advise to spend at least 1 night at a hotel/hostel to adapt to the environment and land. We have plenty of recommendations to give but you can make reservations using hotels.com or similar. Pucallpa is a small town in the Amazon and airport transfers doesn´t cost you more than 5$.
We will pick you up outside your hotel at 7am in the morning, taking you to the harbour and embark on a 3-4 hour speedboat ride on the Amazon River before reaching the Shipibo Village.
