The Jungle Hub

Located just 1.5 hours from San José, our 4-hectare permaculture farm is hidden in the mountains near San Ramón. Surrounded by lush jungle, it offers a rare sense of peace and immersion in nature. Wildlife, birds, and breathtaking views are part of daily life. A private 22m waterfall invites you to explore and reset. This off-grid sanctuary is designed for simplicity, presence, and deep connection with the natural world.

Our farm-to-table meals consist of fresh, homemade dishes made with love. We bake our own sourdough bread, make Kombucha and avoid processed foods. Everything is prepared fresh, directly at the farm.

The Jungle Hub nature retreat is nestled in San Francisco de Piedades Sur, a quaint village close to San Ramón de Alajuela. We offer a complimentary pick-up and drop-off service in San Ramon to make your journey as smooth as possible.

Getting to The Jungle Hub is a seamless journey designed for your convenience. Begin by booking a flight to San Jose International Airport (SJO) in Costa Rica, the gateway to your nature retreat.

Upon arrival, choose from a variety of transportation options. Opt for an affordable and scenic bus ride to San Ramón, costing approximately 5 USD.

Alternatively, experience the convenience of an Uber, priced around 40 USD as per our last check.

For a more personalized experience, we can arrange a private driver to await you at the airport with a sign, ensuring a direct transfer to the farm without the need to change vehicles. While the private driver's fee can vary (usually around 150 USD), it provides a hassle-free and efficient journey, as the driver employs a taxi meter.

Please note that both the bus and Uber options will bring you to the nearby city of San Ramón, approximately 25 minutes from us. Rest assured, our team will be ready to pick you up from San Ramón and bring you directly to The Jungle Hub retreat center, ensuring a smooth transition from your travels to the heart of nature.
