In our yoga shala, you'll find a stunning cypress wood dance floor, soaring wall-to-roof glass windows, and elegant bamboo pillars that create a space where every detail is a work of art. Imbued with a wonderful vibe, our shala is meticulously maintained and exudes a sense of serenity. Crafted with care by local community workers, each house within our center showcases the beauty of locally sourced materials such as cane, cypress, pine, and rocks.

Directions

Arrival by Airplane: When booking your flights to Lake Atitlan, aim for La Aurora International Airport (GUA) as your destination. For added convenience, we offer private shuttle transfers from the airport to Lake Atitlan for an extra fee. Ensure your flight arrives early in Guatemala City to catch the shuttle, as public boat services across the lake cease after dark. Arrival by Shuttle: For a comfortable and efficient journey, a private shuttle is recommended for transportation to Lake Atitlan. Saasil can assist in arranging private shuttles to and from Guatemala City. Keep in mind that travel time from the airport to the lake can take three to five hours, so plan your flight schedule accordingly. Arrival by Bus: From Guatemala City airport or Antigua, take a shuttle to Panajachel, just one stop before San Marcos. From there, catch a boat to Tzununa. Tuk-tuk drivers at the Tzununa dock are familiar with Saasil's location and can safely transport you to the entrance. Arrival by Boat: Traveling by boat from Panajachel to Tzununa is another option. Tuk-tuk drivers at the Tzununa dock will know the way to Saasil and can ensure you arrive safely. Keep in mind that public boat services stop running after dark for your convenience and safety.
