Vajra Vidya

This was my first six-day retreat at Vajra Vidya and I already know I’ll be back for future ones. The experience was absolutely transformative. The program was so thoughtfully structured that I truly enjoyed every single minute. I also want to mention the incredible people who organized this experience, I'm so grateful to everyone who runs Vajra Vidya and makes these retreats possible 🙏 You made me feel right at home, and I’m already looking forward to returning!

This retreat supported a deep stabilization of awareness and a meaningful shift in my overall attitude and commitment to the path. It was truly transformative.

I experienced a greater capacity to rest in calm abiding presence and to meet life with compassion, and to be with what is—rather than resist it. I also felt more attuned and aligned with awareness in a way that continues to support me beyond the retreat.

Being in Ani’s presence at Vajra Vidya felt both elevating and expansive. I’m deeply grateful for the experience.

The greatest benefit of this retreat was sangha—coming together in community to honor wisdom, simplicity and the preciousness of human life.

I felt supported not just on a spiritual path, but on a human one. I could simply be myself—and that was/is enough.

Through Ani Lodro Palmo’s teachings during retreat, there was a humble recognition of our shared human condition—and a sense that freedom comes not from ‘fixing’ … but softening into it.

Highly recommend! This was my first experience at Vajra Vidya. I especially appreciated:
- Ani's presence and skillful teachings.
- The beauty and cleanliness of the center, and that everyone has their own room
- Hiking to visit the stupa and meditating there as a group.
- The opportunity to slowww downnn, refill my tank, and gain helpful insights and tools...just as I hoped.
- The Crestone area is a place like no other - the land and the energy are still and quiet and grounding by nature, and the views of the Valley are vast and awe-inspiring.
If you are looking for a spiritual retreat I would definitely recommend Vajra Vidya. It is welcoming and appropriate for newcomers and experienced practitioners alike. Thank you Ani and all!

Vajra Vidya was the perfect setting to partake in Elizabeth Astor's Pillar of Light silent retreat. The facility was warm, spotless and so comfortable. The hiking behind the grounds to the stupa was a daily must! Jamyang and Will made the stay so special and the food was incredible. I felt so cared for..thank you!
