Vajra Vidya

It is much more than I expected. Ani Lodro is peaceful , knowledgeable, and a great teacher. I learned so much just in the first session and it was just a great calming experience.

I'm currently taking Ani Lodro's four-week online course entitled "Dzogchen Treasure Teachings" via Vajra Vidja in Crestone, CO. Ani-la is teaching from Padmasambhava's "Treasures from Juniper Ridge." We convene weekly on Saturdays via Zoom, thus the course is convenient for busy professionals. Each session is structured to allow ample time for students to ask questions of Ani-la, and transcripts/recordings are provided after each session.

Ani-la is a wonderful teacher and it is a blessing to be able to access her teachings remotely and live like this. She has a gift for translating what can seem like dense, esoteric, and philosophically rich content into straightforward and simple language that is both digestable and understandable. She and VVRC conveniently provide me with everything I need to study, learn and contemplate the teachings before, during, and after each session. It is such a delight to be able to spend time with Ani-la like this in-between my personal visits to Crestone.

Khenpo Lobzang's teachings were informative, relatable and well expressed. Even though I am not formally a Tibetan Buddhist, I would highly recommend attending one of these offered retreats. I particularly appreciated Khenpo's non-dual perspective and reminders. He also offered interesting personal stories related to the spiritual path.

Khenpo Lobzang is a most exceptional teacher and for this retreat he was most brilliant. The teachings covered a wide expanse of texts and the Q&A sessions were illuminating. The Crestone area is also a great place to hang out, walk, and reflect. The meals, lodging, and ambiance at the center felt like home.

if you're interested in a true retreat space for Dharma practice, I can't recommend Vajra Vidya highly enough. The accommodations are clean, comfortable, beautiful, and simple. The food is high quality, thoughtfully prepared vegetarian fare. And the staff, themselves mature practitioners and teachers, are supportive of people's needs.

All of that, plus the Khenpos, who are senior Kagyu meditation masters and profound teachers, makes Vajra Vidya a rare and powerful retreat environment for practitioners of any level.
