We hope to spread knowledge and inspiration, and give our participants tools in which to heal, thrive and spread joy through each day of their lives. Samanea Center for Sacred Ecology is a 40 acre reforestation property located in the beautiful mountains of Monteverde, Costa Rica. It has a lovely river running through it, and is home to a diverse range of flora & fauna. We have a newly constructed, incredible maloka where we will hold many of the courses, and nextdoor is Rancho de Lelo's Eco Lodge, where we will be staying, which boasts an organic farm, beautiful bungalos and cabins for your comfort.

We will be providing three delicious traditional Costa Rican style meals per day. We are able to cater to any dietary needs you may have. Much of the produce is organically grown on property.

We are situated about 2.5 hours from SJO International Airport, and about the same from Liberia International Airport.
We can assist with shuttle services, or private drivers if preferred.
It is also very easy to rent a vehicle and drive to the center from either airport.
Additionally, there is many busses to Santa Elena, the main town in Monteverde, and it is about $20 taxi ride to the center from there.
