Free Spirited Wanderer

I attended the True Nature Retreat in the Smokey Mountains. Being surrounded by nature, sleeping in the yurts, waking up in the clouds, and hearing the birds sing and the rain pour during our yoga practices is exactly what I needed. My intentions were to make connections, learn about yoga, and spend time away from the daily grind. I left feeling energized with new goals, grateful for my blessings, focus on what’s important in my life, contentment, and equipped with the knowledge/tools to dive deeper into my yoga practice. I’ve been doing yoga for 20 plus years; I think this retreat is for all levels. I give Carole and her crew two thumbs up! I plan to join them for another retreat.

I don't even know where to start. This yoga retreat was such an incredible experience. If you are thinking about attending one, just do it. From start to finish, everything about the experience took my breath away. I felt so blessed during every group activity, yoga session, and moment to myself. It was the perfect balance to help me connect with myself, new friends, and nature. The food was also incredibly healthy and nourishing. Eating such wholesome food made me feel energized and cared for in a way that perfectly complemented the yoga and meditation practices.

And let's take a moment to appreciate Carole. I can't say enough about how amazing she is as a retreat leader. She is genuinely one of the kindest and most authentic people I’ve ever met. Her deep knowledge of yoga, meditation, and wellness combined with her heartfelt kindness made the entire experience feel so personal and special. It was truly a gift to have her guide the group through yoga sessions, group activities, and just to chat with her one on one. It was beautiful to witness the universe working through her. I will absolutely be going to more of her retreats in the future!
