Directions
Your journey will begin in Lima, Peru. From there, you have a choice to travel by bus or by airplane to Cusco, the closest major city to the Sacred Valley and the arrival point for most international travelers. Please plan to make your own way to the retreat center in Pisac on October 2, 2026.
-Arrival by plane
%Fly into Alejandro Velasco Astete International Airport (CUZ) in Cusco. From Cusco airport, it’s approximately a one-hour drive to Melissa Wasi Retreat Center in Pisac.
-Arrival by taxi
%Taxis are readily available at the airport, or Soulful Solutions can help you book a trusted private taxi in advance for 25 USD. If you’d like assistance arranging your taxi, please let them know at least three days before arrival.
They recommend arriving in Cusco by late morning or early afternoon on October 1 to settle in and adjust to the altitude.
The route to Pisac is scenic and safe, with winding roads through the Andes and beautiful views of the valley. Once you arrive at Melissa Wasi, you’ll be warmly welcomed into a peaceful and nourishing space where your journey of remembrance begins.
