- 2) Japanese Zen Buddhist Music Meditation – is intended to attain a state of well-being by elevating the mind through spontaneous musical sounds.
- 3) Solo Meditation – uses a 12-minute recording of guided imagery, music and sounds of nature, to initially engender a state of peace, with the rest of the session spent in silence.
- Optional Services
- 1) Yoga – Licensed instructor provides personal Vinyasa sessions in your suite through Zoom.
- 2) Massage – Licensed practitioners offer various services and prices at numerous locations in town.
- 3) Life Coaching – Individuals or Couples (60 min/$125)
- 4) Astrological Readings – Individuals or Couples (Written report and 60 min/$250)

- The Day of Silence may be arranged for as many full days as a guest wants. It includes the meditation program and any optional services desired. Lunch and dinner may be coordinated in advance to assist in maintaining the program.

John Shephard is a retired psychotherapist, a ULC minister, a published author, a musician, composer and astrologer. His book Cottage Lake Soliloquy is guide to spiritual enlightenment in the form of a novel. His meditation CD, Into the Blue, uses original music, guided imagery and sounds of nature.

Program includes 3 hours daily of 3 styles of meditation; Instructor-guided meditation, Music-Guided Japanese Zen meditation> Additional options include yoga, massage life coaching and horoscope sessions, plus a guidebook for spiritual enlightenment in the form of a novel, and an original teacher-guided meditation CD with music, guided imagery and sounds of nature.Meditation

Accommodation
The Lakeside Bedrom Suite is five rooms; bedroom, living room, snack room and office with views of the lake plus a full guest bathroom. The bedroom has a queen-sized bed, a Keurig coffee maker, soft robes, slippers, games, fans and an electronic massage cushion. The living room has a private entrance with the hot tub right outside the door. It has two cushy chairs, a loveseat, cable tv, WiFi, music and DVD players, CDs, DVDs, games, a ukulele and a wide selection of books. There is table for dining indoors if preferred. The office is good for computers or deskwork. The bathroom is equipped with toiletries and a hair dryer. We have lived here since 1978 and are pleased to welcome you to what is for us a magical spot. We hope your stay here is as conducive to your peace and enjoyment as it is for us.

The Lakeside Bedroom Suite overlooks the water from the midpoint of the shoreline, giving a broad vista of the lake and surrounding area. It is situated in the heart of Woodinville wine country in a quiet neighborhood on a dead-end street. Facing east, it offers a clear view of the sunrise, weather permitting. Eagles from a nearby nest soar frequently over the water, which is filled with waterfowl, otters, beavers and trout. Deer occasionally wander into the yard.
