Embodied Freedom: A Sailing Retreat for Body, Mind & Soul
Step aboard a 65-foot ocean-going yacht and let the sea become your sanctuary. Over three transformational days you’ll explore how movement, breath, and stillness can restore deep harmony between body and mind.
Guided by physiotherapist and ocean athlete Marion McRae, this immersive retreat blends science-based physiotherapy with somatic practices, emotional regulation tools, and mindful exploration. Mornings open with breathwork and gentle deck movement; afternoons invite sailing, reflection, and ocean immersion; evenings close with sunset meditations and nourishing meals shared under the stars.
Designed for anyone seeking release from tension, pain, or overthinking, Embodied Freedom invites you to unwind old patterns, regulate your nervous system, and rediscover ease in motion and emotion.

A note on seasickness:
I know a few people have expressed concerns, so I want to reassure you that we’ve designed this experience with comfort in mind. The vessel is a 65-foot catamaran, which is significantly more stable than smaller boats, meaning most people feel very little motion. Our actual sailing windows are short, and whenever possible we choose smooth, sheltered routes. We’ll also be anchoring in bays that are protected from wind and swell to keep the boat steady during sessions and overnight. And if at any point someone needs a break on land, we can ferry guests to the beach for downtime. Your comfort dictates our sailing choices — not the other way around.
Bringing a partner who isn’t into workshops? Totally welcome.
Some people join this retreat for the deep inner work, others come for the ocean, the sunsets, the beaches, the food, and the chance to just be. If your partner (or a friend) wants to come along simply to enjoy the sailing experience, long beach walks, swimming, reading, snorkelling, napping, great meals, or quiet downtime, that’s absolutely fine.
Participation in the workshops is completely optional. The boat is spacious enough for people to unwind on deck, explore the shoreline, or simply enjoy the rhythm of life on the water while others are in session. This retreat is designed to meet everyone exactly where they’re at — whether that’s full immersion or gentle restoration.
