Annamaria Acquaviva is a dietitian-nutritionist and pharmacist. After completing hospital training, she has worked for years both in outpatient clinics with patients on wellness, weight loss, and dietotherapy programs, and through scientific congresses and public initiatives.
She is the author of a holistic method, which is not a “trend” but rather the application of the most recent scientific evidence to the individual. With this approach, she defined her method, the 5 pillars of health: personalized nutrition, inner harmony, physical activity, rest, and nutritional and cosmetic integration.
She is responsible for the scientific study “Progetto BATMAN,” carried out in collaboration with the Istituto Oncologico Romagnolo (IOR), with which she collaborates for communication campaigns. She is the creator and head of the web communication projects Ior mangio sano, con più gusto and Sano, giusto e con gusto!, developed thanks to IOR, the National Dietitians Association, and the Scientific Association of Nutrition, Dietetics, and Dietetic Food.
She is the author of the book “Bambini a tavola. Quasi un gioco!” ("Children at the Table. Almost a Game!"), "Colore è salute" ("Color is Health"), and the blog HealthRevolution, where she shares curiosities about nutrition and tasty recipes. She frequently appears on various media outlets, including TV networks (Raiuno, Rete4, Raitre), as a nutrition expert.
In 2018, she won the "Oscar della Salute" (Health Oscar). Since 2019, she has been collaborating with Palazzo di Varignana as an health coach for guests and in the creation and management of wellness and health projects.
She is responsible for projects at the Medical Center of Palazzo di Varignana, where treatments are designed to stimulate the immune response, enhance metabolic activity, and combat oxidative stress.
She prepares personalized dietary programs for various conditions: weight gain or loss, celiac disease, food intolerances, vegetarian diets, irritable bowel syndrome, the FODMAP protocol, pregnancy, breastfeeding, and menopause.
She has also developed a method to improve sleep disorders, offering a program designed to address sleep deprivation that negatively impacts the quality of life for many people. For this, she practices Nature Therapy, which promotes relaxation through exposing all five senses to natural stimuli, and Hypnoinductive Training with binaural stimulation, a guided psychophysical relaxation technique to induce sleep.
She is the author of the book "I 5 pilastri della salute per il benessere e la longevità" ("The 5 Pillars of Health for Wellness and Longevity"), in which she suggests methods to follow a healthy, pleasant lifestyle and fully achieve psychophysical wellness.
