Details of this retreat

Retreat Description

Huachuma, also known as San Pedro, Washuma, or Grandfather, is an ancestral plant medicine native to the Andean regions of South America. For centuries, Quechua-speaking cultures have worked with Huachuma for healing, spiritual insight, emotional release, and clarity of vision.

This retreat takes place during Pawkar Raymi, the Andean festival of blossoming and renewal, aligned with the March Equinox. Traditionally, Pawkar Raymi honors the garden and the abundance it provides. In ceremony, this translates into honoring one’s inner garden: recognizing what has grown, releasing what no longer serves, and creating space for new intentions.

Huachuma is known for its heart-opening qualities and grounded, lucid nature. The medicine works gently yet deeply, offering clarity, emotional integration, and a renewed connection to self, nature, and life.

All ceremonies are conducted with respect for Andean tradition, guided by experienced facilitators and Q’ero shamans in a safe and supportive mountain setting.
