About this Retreat
Gong Master since 2017 trained with Don Conreaux and Aidan McIntyre, Matteo has a passion for meditation in the Tibetan tradition of Chogyam Trungpa. He has trained extensively in meditation with Reggie Ray and Dharma Ocean, participating and leading several retreats based on cultivating somatic practices and inner stillness. He is also knowledgeable about permaculture, regenerative agricolture, and human rights. He and his team will be more than happy to share their approach to land and water management, homesteading and climate adaptation.
Details of this retreat
Small-scale nature retreat and glamping experience rooted in slowness, presence, and seasonal rhythm.
Cross the threshold.
Closing the Circle marks the end of the retreat season at Rainbow Hill. Set in October, as the land begins to slow down, this retreat offers a contained space to consciously complete a cycle. It is a time to integrate what has unfolded over the year, release what no longer needs to be carried, and prepare for the quieter months ahead. Through sound journeys, grounding practices, time in nature, and shared meals, the retreat supports a sense of completion and inner settling. The rhythm is simple and reflective, inviting participants to leave with clarity and a felt sense of closure.
The retreat includes guided morning practices, time outdoors on the land, shared vegetarian meals, and spacious afternoons for rest, walking, or quiet reflection. Evenings are simple and informal, with sound or relaxation sessions.
Arrive, recalibrate, and begin the new cycle with clarity and grounded presence.
Cross the threshold. Close the circle.
