Join Jonwin Lee, a highly trained teacher of Tai Chi and Qigong, for a two-week immersive retreat in Ubud, Bali.

The program focuses on the Yang Tai Chi form and complementary Qigong practices, guiding participants to cultivate balance, vitality, and inner peace through the flow of Qi (life energy).

Schedule

Morning Rhythm

Sunrise (optional): Gentle stretching and Qigong to awaken breath, balance, and energy.
7:30- 8.30 AM – Nourishing Breakfast: Enjoy a plant-based, seed-oil-free meal prepared with love and care.
9:00 AM – 12:00 PM – Morning Training:
Guided Tai Chi & Qigong sessions led by Jonwin Lee.
Step-by-step instruction integrating both internal and external martial arts traditions.
Focus on cultivating energy from within — transforming movement into meditation, balance, and flow.
There will typically be a 20- 30 minute break hald way through the morning session
The timings are flexible as the teacher and students will adjust to each others rhythms and capabilities.

Afternoon Flow

12:30 PM – Wholesome Vegan Lunch: Fresh, locally sourced ingredients that nourish body and spirit.
Afternoon Break:
Swim in the saltwater pool
Rest in shaded gardens
Reflect quietly amidst the rice paddies
3:00 – 4:30 PM – Afternoon Session:
Integrative Tai Chi and Qigong practice
Emphasis on breath, form, and mindful movement

Evening Sanctuary

6:00 PM – Dinner: Communal vegan meal, vibrant and nourishing, shared in gratitude and connection.
7:00 PM (Optional): Evening circle for:
Meditation or journaling
Silent reflection or sharing

Free Weekend – Rest & Exploration

The middle weekend (after Saturday lunch through Sunday evening) is completely free.
Use this time to rest deeply or explore Bali’s cultural treasures:
Sacred temples and holy water ceremonies
Local beaches or markets
Traditional Balinese healing and purification rituals (available upon request)
Baliflow can arrange and faciliate solo or group excursions to anywhere in Bali.

Dragonfly Village is a serene eco-retreat nestled in Ubud’s rice fields, just a short walk from town yet blissfully quiet.

Guests stay in hand-crafted teak bungalows with natural mud-wall bathrooms, a saltwater pool, herbal sauna, and a vegetarian café.

With open-air shalas overlooking the fields, it’s the perfect balance of nature, comfort, and community.

Shared Spacious En-suite (4 or 3 person sharing) Ideal for friends or solo travelers who enjoy community, our triple bungalows are spacious, airy, and beautifully crafted from recycled teak wood. Each room is set with three comfortable single beds, each draped with its own mosquito net for privacy and rest. The room is fan-cooled. The bungalow features a private semi-open bathroom with hot shower, natural mud-wall design, and eco-friendly touches throughout. A front terrace opens directly to the rice fields, offering a peaceful space to relax, read, or simply watch the rhythms of nature. -- Private double bed Joglo (twin or double) Designed for couples or friends who want to share the retreat journey together, our double bungalows feature a spacious king-sized bed draped with a mosquito net, traditional teak interiors, and a private semi-open bathroom with natural finishes and hot shower. Friends or couples can also elect to have two large single beds. A shaded terrace opens out to the rice fields, offering a peaceful haven to relax after training sessions. This is the perfect option for partners to immerse in practice while enjoying comfort, connection, and privacy. -- Single Joglo (entire House) - King Size Bed Perfect for solo travelers seeking space and tranquility, this option features an entire joglo to yourself, a king-sized bed with mosquito net, elegant teak interiors, and a semi-open bathroom with hot shower. A private terrace facing the rice fields offers the ideal spot for journaling, quiet reflection, or simply soaking up the natural beauty. This room combines the comforts of privacy with the serenity of the retreat setting.
