About this Retreat
Katrine is a Somatic Therapist, Reiki Healer and Life Coach and the guide behind Return to the Body retreats.
Her work is rooted in lived experience. For many years, Katrine pushed herself beyond her limits as a high-achieving, sensitive woman, ignoring her body’s signals until chronic pain and deep exhaustion forced her to slow down. When conventional approaches couldn’t explain what was happening, she began exploring the connection between the nervous system, emotions, and the body.
Through somatic practices, self-inquiry, nervous system regulation, and body-based healing, Katrine learned to listen to her body rather than fight it. This process not only helped her release chronic pain and tension, but also transformed her relationship with herself.
Today, Katrine supports women who feel disconnected, overwhelmed, or stuck especially those carrying emotional or physical tension, to reconnect with their bodies in a gentle and grounded way. Her approach blends somatic healing, nervous system awareness, body-based practices, meditation, and nature connection with horses.
Katrine creates spaces that are calm, intuitive and deeply supportive. She believes healing happens when the body feels safe enough to be heard, and that true transformation doesn’t come from fixing ourselves, but from returning home to who we already are.
