About this Retreat
My journey in yoga began with an intensive training in classical and contemporary dance, which I practiced with dedication from a young age. From the discipline and the search for expression in dance, I discovered in yoga a new way of moving— freer, without external pressures or judgment—allowing me to connect deeply with my body and mind. This sense of freedom, and the magic of how all chaos seems to disappear on the mat, sparked my curiosity for teaching. Since then, I have continued to devote myself passionately to study and practice, and every day I understand more not only the power of yoga for myself but also how much I enjoy guiding others to discover these benefits.
My classes are based on creative and fluid movements. I love crafting harmonious and inventive transitions between poses, paying close attention to strength and mobility. At the same time, I encourage listening to oneself, tuning into the body and mind, and experiencing movement freely without striving for the “perfect form.” I create a welcoming and safe space where movement invites exploration, and where the breath guides toward grounding, presence, and authentic connection, inspired by the harmony and strength of nature.
Details of this retreat
Imagine a place where the ocean breeze, the sunlight, and the rhythm of the village become part of your yoga practice, a place where you connect with the elements, because the elements shape your days.
The Rîhla Retreat is an intimate retreat (for only 13 people), designed for those who wish to integrate yoga, meditation, and movement with a direct experience of the nature and culture of southern Morocco.
We will welcome you in Imsouane for a dual journey: an outer journey, connecting you to the land, the elements, the local culture, and its people; and an inner journey, reconnecting you with yourself—to listen deeply, to rediscover direction and clarity.
This is not your typical retreat. We don’t travel to a distant country only to close ourselves off in an isolated retreat center, separated from the world and the place that hosts us.
Come for a yoga journey that doesn’t stay confined to the mat, but enters into dialogue with local traditions—a journey that invites self-reflection, aliveness, and presence. Come to meet like-minded people, to get to know yourself through them, to have fun, and to experience the freedom this place offers.
Twice a day, we practice Vinyasa yoga and meditation, guided by the natural elements and direct experience of the culture of this land.
The elements are the foundation of all that exists. Earth grounds us, water softens, fire transforms, air creates movement, and space holds. Through our practices, we will explore how these forces shape our inner experience and how to live in harmony with ourselves once again.
