In the quiet landscape of Miyama—where thatched roofs meet mountain mist—there is a different way of being.

This is not a tour, but an invitation into a more refined state of presence.

Rather than following a structured program, the experience unfolds through subtle, carefully held elements such as:

The resonance of traditional Japanese sound practices
Gentle, intentional movement rooted in natural alignment
Moments of stillness immersed in the aesthetics of rural life

These are not taught as techniques, but experienced directly—allowing a deeper, more authentic integration to emerge.

Naoko hold this space with over a decade of therapeutic experience, supporting each participant in returning to a quieter, more grounded sense of self.

Accommodation

The entire thatched-roof sanctuary is devoted to your personal journey. Set in a quiet area away from busy tourist paths, it offers a rare opportunity to experience the understated beauty and stillness of rural Japan. Surrounded by the gentle presence of forest and mountains, you are invited into a world where simplicity, space, and silence reveal their quiet depth. From the tatami rooms, open views of the natural landscape create a sense of calm continuity with the environment—an atmosphere often described in Japan as a subtle, lived sense of harmony and impermanence. To honor your privacy and the integrity of your inner process, the space remains entirely yours during the evening hours. Naoko holds and facilitates your experience throughout the day, then steps away after the evening session, returning again in the morning.
