About this Retreat
Damini Sargam is a dedicated and intuitive Teacher, Yogi, Psychologist, Multidisciplinary Energy Healing Practitioner, specializing in Sound Healing, Meditation, Breathwork and Yoga.
She has over 12+ years of experience in teaching thousands of students from across the globe.
Her work brings together ancient Vedic wisdom with modern psychological understanding, sound and frequency-based therapies, nervous-system awareness, feminine and masculine energy work, yogic practices, vedic rituals, and energy-balancing approaches.
Damini had studied Sound in Mumbai since early childhood as a part of her family lineage.
She had the opportunity to work around many Masters and learn from their depth and dedication.
The practice of Nada Yoga, or the yoga of sound, and classical Indian Ragas incorporated vocal chants, mantras, the tone of the human voice, silence, and vibrations of musical instruments to balance and harmonize the chakras; sound could reach deep within the human psyche, bringing about profound transformation and restoration.
From the rhythmic beats of indigenous drums to the delicate tones of Himalayan singing bowls, she learned sound healing as an ancient practice where vibrations from instruments are used to shift energy within the body.
Damini also studied psychology internationally, with a Master's from India and Germany.
She has done extensive research in the field, exploring the complexities of the human mind and behavior.
The unconscious mind includes all of the things that are outside of our conscious awareness, such as early childhood memories, desires, and hidden drives.
We bury these things in our unconscious because they might be socially unacceptable or bring us internal conflict.
While these thoughts, memories, and urges are outside of our awareness, they still influence how we think and behave.
The conscious mind, on the other hand, includes everything that is inside of our awareness.
Damini integrates Feminine and Masculine Energy Balance within the framework of Energy Healing. The Divine Masculine is the energy that affirms us and supports the sacred Feminine to be seen and shine.
The Divine Masculine perfectly complements the Divine Feminine aspects of receiving, healing, being intuitive, calming, in flow, loving, and safely vulnerable.
We all have both energies within us and this energy isn't related to our gender but it plays a huge role in determining who we attract and how we behave in a relationship.
When we heal and balance the masculine & feminine energies within, there can be a divine union in relationship, where each feels safe, held in their highest potential, creating trust & deep intimacy.
Damini also specializes in Women's Healing where students learn about Feminine-based movement practices to support energetic flow, menstrual cycle, womb healing, generational trauma, ancestral and karmic release work and navigating stuck emotions.
Damini encourages students to explore the philosophy and practices of the Divine Feminine through the lens of the Shakta Tantra tradition—one of India's oldest spiritual lineages devoted to the worship of Shakti, the creative power that gives birth to all life.
Damini integrates the timeless wisdom of Ayurveda- one of the world's most ancient medical systems and one of India’s oldest traditional healthcare systems.
Ayurvedic texts have mentioned that a human is entwined indefinitely with nature and the cosmos over the course of time. Ayurveda deals with the flow of energy in the human body.
She places important emphasis on Pranayama. It is much more than a mere breathing exercise; it is a profound spiritual technology designed to govern the subtle energies that animate the human body.
The scriptural roots of Pranayama are found in the Upanishads and the Hatha Yoga Pradipika, where it is described as a method to purify the Nadis (energy channels) and prepare the practitioner for higher states of consciousness. In the Vedic tradition, the breath is seen as the subtle connection between the Atman (Soul) and the material world.
Damini is also a trained Fine Art Professional. She is deeply immersed in spiritual Art and has worldwide collectors of her paintings. She integrates art therapy and creative expression through Yantra painting in her trainings.
In spiritual terms, a yantra is not just a symbol—it is a living force. A Yantra is essentially an instrument of control, concentration, and spiritual elevation. Used across various traditions, especially in Hindu and Tantric practices, it acts as a bridge between the practitioner and the cosmic energies.
Damini remains personally involved in the Training and Retreats, ensuring each participant’s experience to be adapted according to their emotional needs, boundaries and comfort.
Damini creates a safe and nurturing space where students are encouraged to explore their spiritual potential. Her teachings blend traditional techniques with modern sensibility, making profound practices accessible to students of all levels.
She works around a profound and meaningful understanding: our thoughts, emotional patterns, breathing patterns, physical self, nervous system, relationships, way of living, and sense of being has a deeper impact.
With a deeply spiritual approach and a compassionate presence, she guides her students through powerful inner practices that awaken energy, balance the mind, and elevate consciousness.
Her deep expertise and compassionate teaching style have made her a sought-after teacher in the field. Her integrated background enables her to teach people from various backgrounds. She creates a confidential and non-judgmental space where trust can develop naturally and every person is respected for their own lived experience.

Feminine and Masculine Energy Healing-
The idea of balancing feminine and masculine energies is far from new. Different traditions have used different names, but the theme is the same: life is shaped by dualities. Opposing forces like light and dark, action and rest, structure and flow guide how we experience the world.
Before we spoke of feminine and masculine, we also saw these patterns in:
Yin & yang (Taoism): Yin embodies the receptive, dark, fluid qualities; Yang represents the active, bright, structured forces. Neither exists without the other.
Shakti & shiva (Hinduism): Shakti is dynamic, creative energy; Shiva is stillness and form. Their union symbolizes the balance of movement and structure.
Goddess/god archetypes: Many myths illustrate aspects of the feminine and masculine in human (or well, god-like) form.
Indigenous traditions: Many stories talk of balance as a fundamental principle in the natural world. We witness it in the dual forces of sun and moon, earth and sky, fire and water. The key aspects of the divine masculine are to protect, to give and provide. Other traits include being grounded, purpose driven, logical and taking action. The divine masculine perfectly complements the divine feminine aspects of receiving, healing, spirituality, being intuitive, calming, being in flow, being loving, affectionate and safely vulnerable.
We all have both energies within us and this energy isn't related to our gender or to sexual preferences but, it plays a huge role in determining who we attract and how we behave within a relationship. We can hold a mix of energies both wounded and divine dependent upon our past experiences, past trauma, spiritual advancement or current situation. We can also shift energies to suit circumstances.
It's a fascinating interplay of energies that highlights masculine and feminine polarity as either triggers or harmony. There's so much to explore and understand here. This is the energy that guides our intuition. The Divine Masculine is the energy that affirms us and supports the sacred Feminine to be seen and shine. The Masculine is the energy that ensures the time is created and carved out for the Feminine to rest. Be creative, and be. We need both in our lives. When we build both in our lives, cultivating a relationship with both. When we heal/balance the masculine & feminine energies within, there can be a divine union in relationship, where each feels safe, held in their highest potential, creating trust & deep intimacy.
Understanding the roots of imbalanced feminine energy
These patterns don’t come out of nowhere. Most of the time, they’re learned responses, shaped by culture, family, and lived experience. It already starts in early childhood.
And then there is our changing relationship to nature: Many of us grew up or live in environments that separate us from natural rhythms. Cities, sterile workplaces, artificial lighting. Nature reminds us of cycles, being present with ourselves, and flow, but when it's not around, it's hard to reconnect with who we really are inside.

Together, they create a 360-degree whole-person framework without losing the distinct identity, boundaries, or safety requirements of any modality.
Your presence, beliefs, wounds, ambitions, projections, and boundaries can influence the helping relationship. You are trained not only to perform modalities, but also to become more aware of the person performing them.
Learn how to use singing bowls, Tingsha bells, chimes, and other sound healing instruments to tune into your inner harmony.
Learning how to hold a mallet, strike a bowl, activate a tuning fork, or perform a basic vibrational massage is useful, but it is only the beginning. You learn to work with people, not merely instruments.
Helps increase mindful practices to become more aware of the present moment.
Understand the theory behind sound healing and gain hands-on experience through practical sessions.
Learn Ayurveda and its fundamental concepts, including herbal medicine treatments and remedies.
The Vedic, yogic, and Ayurvedic person, including the Mahābhūtas, Kośas, Doṣas, Nāḍīs, Chakras, prāṇa, and consciousness.

This breath gives practitioners a richer framework for understanding why no two clients should be approached through an identical session.
Foundational Ayurveda Within Frequency-Medicine Education
Ayurveda is not included as a decorative cultural reference. Its foundational principles deepen your understanding of constitution, elements, bodily tissues, individual variation, and balance.
The curriculum explores:
Pañca Mahābhūta, the five great elements
Pañca Kośa, the five sheaths of human existence
Tridoṣa, Vāta, Pitta, and Kapha
Nāḍīs and the movement of prāṇa
Chakras and psychological-energetic development
This is a rare integration within sound healing education. It moves the practitioner beyond simplistic one-frequency-for-one-problem formulas and encourages a more individualized understanding of the person receiving the session.
Together, they enable the practitioner to work through multiple pathways, including sound, vibration, breath, awareness, energy, and contemplative practice, while keeping the individual's needs at the center.
Saturday & Sunday week off days for self-exploration.
This creates the foundation for a genuinely holistic approach that seeks balance across the mind, body, emotions, energy, and inner life.
