About this Retreat

My path to Camp Joy Retreats has unfolded through many chapters, each one shaping how I think about connection, healing, and what it means to truly feel joy.
For more than fifteen years working in the restaurant industry, including seven years as a General Manager, I developed a deep appreciation for creating memorable experiences. Great food, beautiful spaces, and thoughtful hospitality have a way of bringing people together, and I loved watching how a shared table could spark conversation, laughter, and connection.
Another part of my journey came through my experience as a mother to a son with special needs. That chapter opened my eyes to many healing paths and led me to study practices that eventually became central to my life, including homeopathy, yoga, and meditation.
For the past twelve years I have worked as a Homeopathic Practitioner, supporting individuals and families on their healing journeys. It has been a privilege to walk alongside them as they rediscover balance, resilience, and wellbeing.
The final nudge that led to Camp Joy Retreats came after a serious car accident. During my recovery, one thought kept returning to me: this is not the dress rehearsal.
Life is meant to be lived fully, with presence and intention. That perspective became part of the heart of Camp Joy.
Today, along with designing the program with my sister, I lead the Inner Joy sessions, creating space for women to pause, reflect, and reconnect with what brings them joy. These gatherings often become some of the most meaningful moments of the retreat, where conversations deepen and new insights emerge.

Details of this retreat
Just nine minutes away, beneath dramatic limestone cliffs, lies the medieval village of Cotignac, alive with cobblestone lanes, year-round markets, and café terraces perfect for watching the world go by. There is a special energy here, and it lingers long after you leave.
Our villa unfolds across three buildings, with hidden patios, an outdoor kitchen under the trees, and a pool house with sauna, and playful seating. Create art, bounce on the in-ground trampoline, or play pétanque or ping pong at apéro hour, Provence-style happy hour.
Bedrooms vary in size and style, all sharing bathrooms between two rooms. Like many centuries-old Provençal homes, no two are alike. Each offers its own charm, quirks, and 'cozy' storage but what they all share is authenticity, character, and views of Provence right outside your window.
Our rooms are priced either as private or shared. If you choose shared, the person who books will pay the 50% deposit for both people in the room. Please let us know if you would us to send the final payment request to the second person in the room.

Directions
By Train:
Take the TGV to Aix-en-Provence TGV Station (approx. 4 hr 45 from Paris CDG, or slightly longer from other Paris stations). The station is a 15-minute drive from Aix’s town center.
By Air + Car:
Fly into Marseille Airport (MRS) and drive to Cotignac (approx. 1 hr 15 min).
Camp Joy Shuttles: We offer group pick-ups from both Aix-en-Provence TGV Station and Marseille Airport (MRS). Shuttle timing will be coordinated based on Camper travel information. Rental cars are also an option for those who prefer to drive.
Accommodation
We are excited to offer a number of options and all prices include meals and snacks, drinks (wine, aperitifs, and, of course, non-alcoholic options), on-site and off-site activities that are included in the agenda, and moments of surprise and delight. All suites are air conditioned and are furnished with towels and bedding. Bathroom amenities include: shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hair dryer. We also provide beach and yoga towels. Rooms with king beds can be reserved just for you or shared with a loved one or friend. In Cotignac, queen beds are available as private rooms only. If you choose a shared room with twin beds, and aren't coming with someone you know, we are happy to pair you with a wonderful roommate. As with many beautiful historic homes in Europe, most bedrooms aren’t large and storage can be a challenge but they’re full of charm and character! ALL bathrooms are shared with one other room. Pricing is based on a 5-night stay. We would be delighted to assist with hotel recommendations or bookings for anyone wishing to stay earlier or later.
