About this Retreat
I support people to reconnect with themselves through movement, breath and awareness.
My approach blends yoga (including pranayama and meditation) and strength training, not as separate tools, but as a holistic way to build energy, strength and clarity. It’s not about chasing extremes. It’s about finding practices that feel honest, grounding and sustainable.
I first came to movement through the gym. Strength training gave me confidence and routine. But it was yoga, discovered during acting school, that shifted everything. Yoga helped me understand the connection between body, mind and breath. It offered tools to manage stress, explore my inner world and move through life more intentionally.
Eventually I left the corporate world to work in health and wellbeing full-time. Today I coach one-on-one, teach yoga classes and run workshops that centre self-awareness, self-trust and sustainable change.
Above all, I’m here to create a supportive and accessible space where people can learn, grow and thrive, in their own way, at their own pace.
This work is about more than fitness or health. It’s about coming home to yourself.
I began exploring yoga in my early 20s as a form of passive exercise to develop flexibility. I realised that yoga required so much more strength than I thought and that it allowed me to express a physicality I hadn’t been able to tap into with other workouts and exercises.
Over the years as I deepened my practice and felt I had reached a plateau I committed to doing my yoga teacher training to further understand the philosophies underpinning yoga. That interest, coupled with my corporate life of facilitation and change management led me down the path of teaching.
Sharing space as well as knowledge grew into a passion which in time expanded beyond yoga. Exploring other forms of group fitness as well as getting my qualifications as a personal trainer allowed me to connect with a wide range of people and leverage all these different disciplines and modalities. In my corporate life I’ve been involved in both Wellbeing and Mental Health support groups but also amongst steering committees designed to challenge and advise the corporate structures and their commitment to workplace wellbeing.
As I begin to shift away from the corporate world and find a rhythm and balance within the fitness industry, I’m connecting with individuals from all backgrounds and with different goals to enable lasting change and improve their overall physical and mental health.
