WinterTraject is an immersive eight-day retreat in the French Southern Alps — a journey outward into the winter mountains, and inward into yourself. Together with a small group of six to eight participants, we stay in a mountain chalet in the Queyras, a pristine natural park in the southern French Alps, and spend our days snowshoeing through the white landscape. We walk in silence, in conversation, in reflection.
What to expect

Each day follows a clear rhythm that invites both safety and depth. We snowshoe through the winter landscape — and movement in nature opens what's been held tight. In the evenings, we cook together, share a warm meal, and close the day in a sharing circle.

Throughout the week, we work experientially with:

Breathwork (resonance breathing / consciously connected breathing)
Body-oriented and somatic exercises
Mindfulness and focusing
Systemic constellation work
Sharing circles and integration moments

Who is this for?

This retreat is for you if you feel it's time to step out of the daily rush — and back into yourself. If you're tired of running on autopilot and want to reconnect with what you feel, who you are, and what truly matters to you.

Your guides

You will be guided by two experienced psychologists and body-oriented psychotherapists — Mathieu Devies and Sarah — who together create a warm, clear and professionally held space. A space where boundaries are clear, vulnerability is welcome, and every person's pace is respected.

The small group size makes genuine encounter possible. We learn not only from the guidance, but from each other.

Transport to Briançon is not included and is arranged independently (TGV + connecting train or bus). Transfer from Briançon station to the chalet can be arranged. Carpooling from Belgium is possible.

Accommodation

Guests stay in shared bedrooms in a comfortable mountain chalet. Rooms are simple, warm and cozy — in keeping with the authentic mountain atmosphere of the retreat. Sharing a room is part of the experience: it invites openness, lightness and real connection with your fellow participants. Privacy and personal space are respected throughout the week. Fresh linen is provided. The chalet has shared bathroom facilities. If you have specific needs or preferences regarding accommodation, these can be discussed during the intake conversation.

We stay in a cozy mountain chalet in the French Southern Alps — a warm refuge after days in the winter landscape. Simple, authentic and welcoming. No luxury hotel, but a real mountain home.
The chalet offers a shared living and dining area, a comfortable space for group sessions and evening circles, and shared bedrooms for our small group. Outside: snow, silence and mountain views on your doorstep.
