A Day-by-Day Overview
Day 0 — Arrival
Arrive in Iquitos. Check into your hotel and join the group for an opening orientation meeting at 5:30pm — your first chance to connect with your fellow participants and the facilitation team before the journey begins.
Day 1 — Journey to the Land
Travel by road to Maestra Ángela's retreat center at KM 72. After settling in, your first full day includes introductions, an ayahuasca preparation lecture, and your first healing plant bath.
Day 2 — Opening & First Ceremony
Begin with a Dragon's Blood purge and Agua Florida practice in the morning. Receive and make plant baths, followed by meditation. In the evening: Ceremony 1 — Diagnosis. The healers begin reading your energy and opening the treatment.
Day 3 — Integration & Sharing
Morning consultations with the healers. Guided art and group sharing circle to begin integrating what arose in ceremony.
Day 4 — Deepening & Second Ceremony
Morning yoga and individual plant medicine treatments. Plant steam bath, Mapacho talk in the afternoon, and intention sharing. In the evening: Ceremony 2 — Diagnosis, Cleansing & Opening of the Dieta.
Day 5 — Plant Medicine & Sound
Pollen/Machinga plant medicine in the morning, followed by a sound bath. Plant steam bath, guided art, and sharing circle.
Day 6 — Movement, Land & Third Ceremony
Morning yoga and plant steam bath. Agua Florida workshop followed by a guided hike and medicinal plant tour of the land. Intention sharing and meditation. In the evening: Ceremony 3 — Cleansing.
Day 7 — Rest & Reflection
Sound bath in the morning. Plant steam bath, guided art, and sharing. A quieter day to let the cleansing work settle.
Day 8 — Shipibo Art & Fourth Ceremony
Morning yoga and a special class with Maestra Ángela on Shipibo art and its healing symbolism. Visit to the local market, followed by a protection bath and intention sharing. In the evening: Ceremony 4 — Protection.
Day 9 — Heart Opening
Cacao ceremony and breathwork session in the morning — a full emotional release and integration practice. Guided art, sharing, and a second protection bath.
Day 10 — Love & Fifth Ceremony
Morning yoga, love bath, intention sharing, and meditation. In the evening: Ceremony 5 — Arkana & Closing of the Dieta. The final and most integrative ceremony of the retreat.
Day 11 — Closing the Container
Morning sound bath, guided art, and group sharing. Integration talk in the afternoon and final love bath. The container closes with gratitude and reflection.
Day 12 — Departure
Breakfast and morning departure back to Iquitos. Time for a stop before flying out.
