Directions
The nearest international airport is Lima (LIM) — Jorge Chávez International Airport, which serves direct flights from most major cities in North and South America.
From Lima, take a connecting domestic flight to Iquitos (IQU) — Francisco Secada Vignetta International Airport. Iquitos is accessible by air only — there are no roads connecting it to the rest of Peru, which makes it one of the most remote cities in the world and the perfect gateway to the deep Amazon.
Recommended airlines for the Lima–Iquitos connection: LATAM and Sky Airline both operate this route regularly. Flight time is approximately 1.5 hours.
Upon arrival in Iquitos, we can help arrange a car transfer from the airport to your hotel for your first night. The following morning, the entire group departs together for Maestra Ángela's retreat center at KM 72 — approximately a 1-hour drive from the city. Traveling together is intentional: it's your first shared experience as a group and the beginning of the container.
Please book your flights into Iquitos (IQU) no later than the afternoon of Day 0 to ensure you can attend the opening orientation meeting at 5:30pm. For departure, Day 12 flights should be booked for the late afternoon or evening to allow time for the morning transfer back to the city.
