About this Retreat
Originally from South Tyrol, Dr. Med. Alexander Angerer specialises in complementary medicine, complementary psychology, phytotherapy, homeopathy, magnetic field therapy (PAPIMI) and Traditional Chinese Medicine. A meeting with Dr. Werner Fundneider, who treated him when he was 10 years old for a rare form of thrombosis, was highly formative. The experience of being in good hands led to him wanting to become a doctor. After a humanistic education, he enrolled at the Innsbruck Medical University. During these years he came to understand that orthodox medicine is essentially fact- based, and therefore, it also approaches homeopathy. Today, with a good dose of irony, he claims that he is not a miraculous healer, but that he offers complementary medical treatment in the "Medical Room" of the Preidlhof.
As a yoga teacher, fitness instructor and nutritionist, Martina Huber guides guests to move in the way they feel good individually, instilling them with confidence in their own perception and intuition, or "inner wisdom". Growing up on a mountain farm in Carinthia, Martina developed a great affinity to nature and early on, this led her to working as a farmer and a restaurateur. Later, she trained as a health and nutrition consultant, discovering in yoga a lifestyle that made her stronger and more self-aware.

Offering noticeable results, this treatment helps to lighten the silhouette and eliminate excess water and toxins. Products rich in essential, natural active oils and an enzyme saline scrub are
massaged onto the body. A covering is worn before applying mud which is allowed to solidify to enable the active ingredients take effect.
MEDICAL WELLNESS SESSION HRV approx. 50 min.
Heart Rate Variability (HRV) is a specialized session which measures the body’s energy efficiency. It detects one’s own HRV and describes the dynamic rhythm of the heart.
TWO SILHOUETTE MASSAGE SESSIONS approx. 50 min. each
Classic and intense stimulating massage focusing on body parts where circulation needs to be boosted. A reactivating technique is combined with a specific product according to individual
needs.
KNEIPP EXPERIENCE approx. 100 min.
This excellent body treatment alternates hot and cold water to reactivate natural energy. The therapist chooses techniques including brushing, washing, body wrap, and massage to relax or
energize body and mind.
SLIM AND DETOX BODY TREATMENT approx. 50 min.
Specific professional shaping or detox body treatment selected according to personalized needs and goals, i. e., cupping, a detox aroma-massage, or radio-frequency skin tightening.
