Meet Alka, a nutritionist, nutritional therapist, health and life coach, Reiki Master and Yoga Teacher.

Alka is a seeker, forever a student and someone who is incredibly passionate about her mission in life : Empowering human beings to become extraordinary and live a life that makes them feel like their best version of themselves. She believes that in order to feel like your best version of yourself a harmonious balance between he fundamental five pillars of health should be achieved : Movement of your body, Nutrition, Spirituality, Career and Relationships. She has a gentle approach towards nutrition, movement, love, health and wellbeing.
Alka specialises in Nutritional Therapy and Yoga for burnout, anxiety and stress. She is a qualified Hatha, Vinyassa, Pregnancy, Kundalini and Yin Yoga Teacher, and is devoted to being a student for life in self-development.
Originally from Cape Town, South Africa, Alka has been living in Bali for 5 years where she has been spreading her love with clients all over the world by empowering them to create a life filled with purpose. She hosts Nurture and Nourishment Yoga retreats and workshops in beautiful Bali and Internationally.

This retreat is for anybody that wants to create a deeper connection with themselves while having fun. You will have belly laughs, long naps, and delicious shavassanas. You will have an adventure like snorkeling, exploring waterfalls, visit a local village and going on a scooter ride. You will relax. You will reconnect with your soul. You will meet people as strangers when you arrive and leave as soul sisters.
Giving is at the core of the 8 Days Nurture & Nourishment Retreats. Alka's vision was to create retreats for woman to renew by giving back to themselves in an environment with the intention of holding a sacred space for a transformative life changing experience through yoga, meditation, daily workshops and inner work. Yoga practice is, in part, about establishing and maintaining healthy, loving relationship with ourselves, loved ones, with our communities, and with all living beings. One of the ethical principles of yoga is called “Seva” or “Service-Mindedness”.
Seva means to live in a way that supports the wellbeing of others. When you join us on a retreat, you are making a difference to the local community. Our 8 Days of Nurture & Nourishment Retreats donates 5% of profits to a long standing and reputable charity, Rice for Bali, that work tirelessly to protect Balinese nature and animals, take care of and provide brighter futures for children, and .give support to underprivileged women and their families.

You will arrive at Ngurah Rai International Airport in Denpasar.
Our driver is a lovely, safe and reliable driver who we will organise to come and pick you up. Upon arrival in Bali, our driver will have a large A4 sign with your name on it, and will bring you straight to the venue, which is about a 3 hour drive from the Airport, without hassle or issues.
The airport has WiFi so you can easily connect upon landing to get in touch with us if there is issue regarding finding the driver. Read More
