About this Retreat

Details of this retreat

5 Days in the Amazon Jungle and 5 Days in the Sacred Valley Mountains

We invite you to be part of this deep prayer and experience with mother ayahuasca in her place of origin. We will have different formats of ceremony and facilitators (Shipibo, Jean Piel and the Xochipilli tribe) both in the jungle and in the mountains (Sacred Valley), we will receive grandfather San Pedro (Wachuma) in it's traditional, going up a mountain, which gives us energy and strength to seal this prayer. We will also have archeological visits, walks and interactions. This circle is an exclusive special gift for those that have a strong calling and are open for adventure.

Xochipilli Retreat Center has been the cradle of many medicine men and women. This is a sacred space committed in keeping the flame alive in human consiousness. The Ayahuasquero has been a mentor for many and has cultivated an environment that feels safe, grounded and primed for a deep internal dive with the medicine.

Mamay Ayahuasca Experience understands the feelings when acknowledging the internal call to sit with plants of power. After a decade of intense spiritual inner work and apprenticeship with a powerful mentor in different countries with groups from 15-150 we know what it takes to transcend to the next highest level. Integrating and cultivating a life with kind self-responsibility.   Three years ago we began working with Xochipilli,  month to month creating this nurturing environment. Mamay Ayahuasca understands the importance of the quality and sacredness of the medicine, prayer and safe container. Our promise is to help you bridge on to the next step of such important decision. Guiding with the utmost love and care moment to moment of your healing retreat for your highest good.

All ceremonies are led by our medicine man, Arturo Lopez. He has 7 people in his staff for groups of 10-14 people this is key! The medicine he serves is traditional and comes directly from the Peruvian Amazon. It is prepared by his dear brother Adler from the Ushnawa tribe. His intention is that each participant experiences the quality and purity of this medicine.

All of our retreats are priced with shared accommodations, couples can room together. Remember, on many different levels we call on to our special ceremony circle and most aligned roommate. Xochipilli has created a safe setting for healing, cultivating deeper community, organic and nature friendly facilities resulting in bigger take aways. Trust that all has been paved with your process in mind.

Please send an email to the host if you need more information before booking. You can also book a Zoom discovery call directly from Mamay Ayahuasca website.

Magic Lives Here
What a fantastic experience! I recently spent a week at this beautiful retreat. From the beginning, I felt at home with the staff and other group members. Everyone there shows love and respect towards you. The surroundings are beautiful and peaceful. The staff was mindful of explaining everything well and giving us all adequate time to process. This was life-changing for me, and I will return. The people who shared this experience with me will always be in my heart. I highly recommend it! Read More

The Place of Rebirth
Like many others may say, words cannot describe the experience I had here. “Service” cannot encompass the length that the staff goes to incorporate you into their family. The beautiful souls that serve here are a gift to humanity. They were truly called to this work and I’m so grateful that they answered the call. I did not want to leave and will certainly be back. If you’re looking for a place to take your first journey or looking for the next step in your current journey, look no further. You have found it. The medicine may have called to me, but Xochipilli found me. I saw things that that are usually heard and felt things that are usually seen. All senses are awakened here. I left feeling like I had just been born. This place will be with me forever not just in this life, but in the next. All gratitude to the grandmother for bringing me here. Read More

Forever Grateful
Before coming to Xochipilli, I had experimented with some plant medicines alone. I was quite confused about how to interpret some of my experiences. Arturo took the time to help guide and enlighten me through them. Arturo has truly been called to this work and I’ll be forever grateful that he answered that call. He and his partner Linda are beautiful beings that define what it means to serve. Arturo can be trusted to not only guide but also to protect you through your experience. He is a gift to this world. I pray that you will trust him to guide you in your journey as well. Read More

Hard to Find Words
It’s hard to find words to describe how special this woman is. As a stranger, she took time to answer every question I had (and there were many) leading to arriving at Xochipilli. Once there, as a new friend, she took time to guide any needs our group had and explained what was going to happen every step of the way. Before I left, I feel that we were connected as family. This is someone I will trust those closest to me to coordinate their own journey to this magical place. Grateful to call this woman my new sister! Read More
