Forest Path Ayahuasca Ceremony in Lake Atitlan, Guatemala

Location icon
Bend, OR, USA
Date
February 20 - 21, 2026

Retreat Highlights

  • We offer our signature ceremonies to serve as a ground for healing, learning, illumination and transformation.
  • We have hosted and guided these rituals for several years and served thousands of glasses of sacrament to people from all walks of life. With this type of work, it is important for everyone involved to always seek to uphold a high standard of integrity, safety and awareness with regards to the individual and the community at large.
  • We take care in all areas we see fit and encourage those looking for an experience to look a little deeper as it is not always enough to seek peak experiences or quick fixes. Ours is a humble path of the Forest and of the heart. Our temple is one of deep prayer, communion and contemplation. People who work with us come to study and learn the path or simply to receive the work that is done. We encourage individuals to be well informed, in good health and equipped with some basic meditation and awareness practices before navigating these spaces with us.

About this Retreat

Details of this retreat

We offer our signature ceremonies to serve as a ground for healing, learning, illumination and transformation.
This special weekend will be in a new location in Bend, OR, where we have been invited by close friends to a serene retreat space, tucked away in the woods at the base of the Three Sisters mountains in Oregon. This beautifully restored barn has been home to numerous ceremonies, retreats, and traditional drum-making workshops. Its spacious interior and excellent acoustics make it a powerful setting for sacred gatherings.
In February, the landscape will transform into a winter wonderland, while inside the center a wood-burning stove keeps the space warm and cozy. Participants are asked to bring personal comfort items, such as mats, blankets, pillows, and sleeping bags, to create their own nest. The property has multiple acres, including a labyrinth, which may or may not be visible depending on snow. Weather permitting, there is plenty of space outdoors to relax between ceremonies, while there is guaranteed warmth inside. For those interested in movement, a hiking trail is a 10-minute drive away.

Arrival will be between 3-4pm to the center, and ceremonies will run from approximately 5pm-12pm each night. We will close each night with soup, and then share a potluck style breakfast each morning. On the final morning we will have an integration circle before saying goodbye.

Medicine in Every Moment
During my time in Guatemala, I was welcomed into the home of the shaman and his wife. From very first day, I felt the balance created by their partnership. Together, they held the space with a combination of strength and warmth that seemed to flow naturally between them. It felt like an expression of the divine feminine and divine masculine in harmony, which set the tone for the entire retreat.

The shaman carried a deep well of wisdom and presence. He responded to questions with patience and clarity, offering guidance that felt both gentle and precise. There were times when just a few words from him brought a sense of calm or understanding that stayed with me long after.

His wife contributed an equally powerful energy; quiet, grounding, and compassionate. The way they moved around each other and the group created an atmosphere that felt deeply respectful and held. I often noticed how attuned they were to what was happening in the space and in each person.

The ceremonies were held in the temple, surrounded by volcanic mountains and waters that seemed alive in their own way. The energy of the land itself felt like an essential part of the medicine, something that reached into every aspect of the experience. There were moments I could feel the volcanic earth under my feet and a sense that the place itself was working with us.

Each detail... the songs of the musicians, the attentiveness of the facilitators, the meals prepared and shared together, felt connected to this same living field. For me, the medicine was not only in the ceremony but in every interaction, every quiet moment, every step taken on the land.

Throughout the retreat, everything felt integrated as one whole experience. Nothing stood apart or felt separate. I left with a sense of having been welcomed into something complete, alive, and profoundly healing. By the end, I felt almost as if all the participants were good friends. There was a natural closeness and trust between us that arose from sharing an experience shaped with so much wisdom and care. Read More
