About this Retreat

Details of this retreat

Join Drubdra Khenpo Tsultrim Tenzin Rinpoche, Abbot of the Meditation School (Drubdra) at Triten Norbutse Monastery, Kathmandu, Nepal, with Tenzin Wangyal Rinpoche for a two-weekend online Dzogchen retreat on January 3–4 and January 10–11, 2026. This retreat offers authentic teachings from the Tibetan Bön Dzogchen lineage, connecting participants with practices preserved and transmitted through generations of lineage masters.

Weekend 1 – January 3–4, 2026: Invocation of Tapihritsa
The first weekend focuses on the Invocation of Tapihritsa, a profound prayer revealing the qualities of open awareness. Drubdra Khenpo Rinpoche and Tenzin Wangyal Rinpoche will teach from a commentary written by H.E. Yongdzin Tenzin Namdak Rinpoche, guiding participants to recognize the radiant qualities of their own enlightened nature and understand the fruit of meditation practice.

Weekend 2 – January 10–11, 2026: First Nail of the Twenty-One Nails – Recognizing the Base-of-All
The second weekend turns to the First Nail of the Twenty-One Nails, inviting participants to directly glimpse the ground of their being—the unconditioned, ever-present foundation from which all experience arises. Through guided meditation and reflection, participants explore how recognizing this fundamental nature opens the path to clarity, inner stability, and freedom at the heart of Dzogchen.
Whether you are new to Dzogchen or an experienced practitioner, this online retreat provides a rare opportunity to engage with the living Tibetan Bön lineage, deepen meditation practice, and cultivate clarity, presence, and resilience in daily life. Recordings will be available for 30 days post-retreat.
