About this Retreat
Dr. Tricia Way has taught religious and justice studies courses inside prisons and in higher education institutions for over two decades, including a Death and Dying course with incarcerated hospice workers at SCI-Graterford. She is now principal consultant and fundraising counsel with Way Consulting Services, lending her experiences and expertise to justice-oriented nonprofit, public interest, and social impact organizations working to transform our society’s responses to interpersonal and systemic harms. Tricia is also a facilitator with JUST Listening and co-author of The Little Book of Listening: Listening as a Radical Act of Love, Justice, Healing, and Transformation.
Details of this retreat
Join us for 6 weeks as we journey through the book: The Little Book of Listening: Listening as a Radical Act of Love, Justice, Healing, and Transformation. The group will be a space where share about the book as well as engage the practice of deep emergent listening with ourselves and others.
Week 1: Tuesday, October 15th from 6 to 8 p.m. at St. Raphaela Center, Dinner Provided
Week 2: Tuesday, October 22nd from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. - Zoom
Week 3: Tuesday, October 29th from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. - Zoom
Week 4: Tuesday, November 5th from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. - Zoom
Week 5: Tuesday, November 12th from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. - Zoom
Week 6: Monday, November 18th from 6 to 8 p.m. at St. Raphaela Center, Dinner Provided
The cost of participating in this group is $75. This includes the cost of the book and 2 shared meals.
Kindly register by October 1st, so we can mail the book to you (or you can pick it up at the Center). Participants will read Chapters 1-3 before the first meeting on October 15th.
